Flats I'll actually wear
" Let me start out by saying, I hate flats. HATE them. I'm 5'2" so I like heels to give me illusion of height. So when I was told I had to wear flats after surgery I was crushed. The only thing I owned that didn't have a heel was an old pair of sneakers, not exactly something I could wear with a dress. I wandered aimlessly around DSW and tried on every black flat in the store. Nothing seemed to fit my narrow feet quite right. I settled on a pair and headed to the check out feeling glum. Then these purplish burgundy suede shoes caught my eye. I passed them by because they were more than I intended to spend and not a neutral color. Something told me I should just try them on. Just looking at them made me smile and put me in a good mood. Not only are these shoes fun looking with the sparkle on the elastic strap, but they are the most comfortable flats in the entire store. They have honest to goodness arch support like a traditional walking shoe. No other flat in the store had this! The other thing I love about this is that while it looks like a mary jane style shoe, it is slip on. The sparkles on the elastic make it look like glittery velvet from a distance and not ugly elastic. I will be wearing these shoes even when I've been given the green light to wear heels again.
One caveat, these shoes run a bit short. Size up especially if you plan on wearing them with socks.

not what I was looking for
" this boot looked so cute online, but not so much in person. For some reason I thought the laces would be elastic so all you have to do is loop them around the button. Alas, they are ties. I wish that if shoes had a tie closure, they were tied in a bow in the picture so it was obvious what you were getting. If the shoe doesnt look good tied in the picture, why would they look good like that on your feet?

picture does not do justice
" I found these boots in the clearance section of my local DSW. Had I found the same deal online I probably would have passed it up. I think the photo online is quite ugly. The black suede in the photo looks worn and dingy and does not showcase the black strap detail well at all.
Normally, I wear a 9 in boots, but I was killing time, so I tried this 8.5 on anyway. Even without a sock on, the boots were tight. My daughter is a 7.5 so I bought them for her to try on. (Anyone with picky girls knows what a risk this is!)
They were slightly big, but just big enough in case she goes through another growth spurt over the winter. I thought she might turn her nose up at the heel, but she found the chunky heel to be stable enough for her liking. I feel like I won the mom award because I found cute boots she will actually wear in the winter. Now maybe her feet wont freeze waiting for the bus. As an added bonus, these cute boots also have great traction!

won't win any beauty pagents
" I won't mince words. This is NOT a cute shoe. What it lacks in style, it makes up for in comfort. My daughter is involved in an after school activity that uses blacklight, and needed an all black shoe, including the sole, that she could move around quickly in.
We suggest going up a half size when you order, as the shoe seems to run short.

great basic flat
" I bought these for my daughter as she needed a dressy black shoe for band and choir. She hates heels so flats were the way to go. Normally, due to her narrow feet, she walks out of this type of flat. These shoes have an elastic around the front part of the opening that help prevent that. We still had to add an insert and she needs to wear a thicker dress sock to prevent her from walking out of the shoe. That being said, this was the only flat she didn't completely walk out of after taking one step. I consider that to be a victory.

the cutest nude sandal
" I was on a mission to find a cute pair of nude sandals. This was not at all what I expected to walk out of the store with! Normally, I'm more of a slip on sandal/mule kind of gal. I tend to get impatient with buckles. Knowing this, I tried on these shoes anyway. Boy, am I glad I did. They are sexy awesome!
At 3.25" they are a lot higher of a heel than they look online. This is probably the highest heel I have as I am super clumsy. I've found that the higher heel back and ankle strap help to stabilize my foot so I had zero wobbly moments. I was also pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they were for the heel height. Usually with heels near this altitude my arch is killing me after an hour. I wore these babies for 4 hours and felt fine.
The only downside to these shoes is that there is a bit of a gap on the sides of my heel. This is due to my narrow feet, however, the back and sides of the shoe do a good job of concealing this. The ankle strap also prevents this from being a problem as it keeps my foot inside the shoe. Without the ankle strap, I would walk out of the shoe.
Overall, a great shoe. I get compliments every time a wear them.

My go to walking sandal
" I purchased a pair of these sandals 2 years ago in gray. I reluctantly came to the conclusion that they were past their expiration date. What a wonderful surprise to find the exact same shoe at DSW again! While I was sad they no longer made this shoe in gray, I'm finding that I love the brown ones just as much.
I have a narrow foot so the vecro strap is a blessing. I love that I can adjust it to my exact needs. I also love the toe strap. I feel that the shoe is much more secure on my foot than the regular thong of the flip flop. I've found that it also prevents the annoying blister between the toe.
Sketchers usually has minimal arch support, but these sandals are the exception to the rule. The arch support is awesome,
I usually wear an 8.5-9 shoe, but I found that I needed to size down to an 8 for a perfect fit.

I can't believe I bought a pair of flip flops
" Normally, I stay away from flip flops. To me, they usually feel like I"m walking on a piece of thick cardboard. I have been having an issue wearing high heels, so I was on a mission to find something cute, and comfortable. My daughter pointed them out and wow are they ever comfortable! They are like walking on some sort of memory foam - yoga mat hybrid. I also love that they are a slight wedge, so I get a tiny bit of height too, without sacrificing comfort.

Great casual shoe
" My husband needed a brown pair of casual shoes and these were his top choice. They could not be beat for comfort. They also have the added bonus of not having the tabs on the back of the shoe. Some people find that they aid in putting on the shoe, but my husband just finds them annoying. I'm glad there was this style sans tab as an option!

Just the sandal He was looking for
" Anyone who is a serious runner knows that with running comes messed up looking toenails. For this reason, my husband has shied away from wearing sandals. We were looking for another type of shoe and spied these sandals. Not only do they cover up the purple toenails, but they have great support and traction.

perfect strappy sandal
" I love the strappy sandal look, but I get annoyed with buckles. These sandals are just perfect for me because, instead of buckles the bands at the ankles are elastic. No fiddling when I want to slip off my shoes. I love how i can dress up a pair of jeans with these shoes, or wear them with a skirt. A very versatile sandal.

my new favorite boots
" I came across these boots in the clearance section a few days ago. I did a double take because they were marked 70% off. I normally wear a 8.5, but these size 9 caught my eye and I figured I'd give them a shot. They fit perfectly.
I have a narrow foot and they are a perfect fit with a sock. The calf of the boot fits comfortably over my jeans as well.
The leather is incredibly soft for it's thickness too.
I love how the toe is rounded. When you are short and have big feet, pointy shoes don't do you any favors. I am 5'2" and the boot comes right below my knee.
The picture online does NOT do the boot justice. They look so much better in person.

cute boots
" I absolutely love these boots. I wanted some boots to wear when it was too cold to wear sneakers outside, but not cold enough for my really warm boots. They are exactly what I was looking for. They are even cuter on than they are online, or sitting on the shelf. I've gotten lots of compliments on them. I'm not sure if these shoes run wide as I put an insert in them for extra arch support as I do a LOT of walking and standing in them.

Favorite Boots
" These boots are awesome. I've been wanting a versitle pair of boots for some time now. When I saw these, I fell in love instantly. These look great with jeans or varing lenths of skirts. One reviewer said they ran large, but I did not find that to be true. I usually wear 8 and the 8 was exceptionally comfy. They are slightly more narrow than a lot of shoes, but I have a narrow foot so it was a match made in heaven.

cute as a button
" I love the little kitten heel. The button gives it some style without making it feel too girlish or matronly. They look better on my feet than they do on the website. They also have the added benefit of making my long narrow 8.5 size feet look less canoe-like.
