"Like all Ryka shoes, this one fits well and as very comfortable. There is one correction that needs to be made to the description, however. It is advertised as a Cross Training shoe, but on the box it is clearly described as a Running shoe and it definitely looks more like a running shoe than a cross trainer. Since I was thinking of adding some running to my walking routine, these will work for me."
"Although the description does not state this, these include memory foam insoles. Great if you are using these to do casual walking or if you stand on your feet all day. However, not good if you plan to use these for serious athletic walking, It is like walking in slippers... way too cushiony. I ended up returning these."
"Overall these are comfortable. The underside of the insoles have little pads that I found a little difficult to get used to. I kept thinking that I was stepping on little things when I first wore them. I ended up swapping out the insoles from an old pair of Ryka sneakers and now these feel great.
Ryka appears to to experimenting with different styles of insoles lately. I bought another pair a couple of months ago and they had a different style of strange insoles."
"I have other Ryka sneakers with normal insoles and they are great. These shoes have memory foam insoles. They fit well, but I think they are probably best for the casual walker or maybe for someone who has to stand a lot. I walk 3-4 miles per day at a fast pace and I find that the insoles are just too squishy for that."
