Sad Feet

" These shoes had everything going for them -- not too tight, not too short. Could they be that elusive shoe that you could wear to and from the office, with just enough height that your pants won't drag on the street? Alas, no. Despite their initial comfort, these shoes were excruciating. Initially I wore with stockings and the balls of my feet felt like they were on fire and my toes begged to be freed. Thinking it was an anomaly, I gave them a second try. This time, the weather allowed bare feet and just a ped -- I fared even worse -- this time they drew blood from the back of my heel (probably due to overcompensating when I walked).

Not sure why it's so difficult for someone to make a comfortable women's shoe that can be worn pre- or post heels (flats aren't an option b/c your pants drag on the street and floor). In my next life, I am coming back as a shoe designer; until then, my quest continues ...

(ps If zero stars were an option, I would have chosen that. I REALLY wanted to love these!!) "
