Stiff material, not much cushion
" Disclaimer - I've only worn these around my apartment as I'm unsure whether I'll keep them.
I don't like the flat heel of ballet flats so these are a nice alternative. The shape is similar, but with a slight heel.
My concerns are that the material is very stiff and I don't think it will stretch/break in much. That coupled with the fact that my big toe is right against the show makes me nervous. (Gross story - I had a pair of shoes with the same issue and it caused my toenail to bruise and eventually fall off. But it did grow back eventually.) So I don't want that to happen again!
Also, there is not much cushioning on the inside. I suppose I could by gel inserts, but I'm afraid that will make them too tight.

Inconsistent sizing
" I ordered these to replace another very similar pair of Andrew Geller wedges that literally broke in half after just a year of wear. They were so comfortable though, that I ordered these in the same size as the other pair (8.5) as a replacement. However these are just tight enough that I know I will end up with terrible blisters on my heels if I wear them.
I guess I'll order the 9 but am afraid they may be too big. The inconsistency is very frustrating.

Bargain!
" I normally wouldn't bother buying Tevas but these were on sale and I had a few gift certificates so I got them for about $5. They are very comfortable, although I don't know that they provide much support.
They seem like they will be perfect for wearing at the beach (obviously), home from getting a pedicure, or lounging around the house.

Good basic rain boots
" I wanted a pair of rain boots that I could wear with skirts or skinny jeans as my "snow" boots aren't fashionable enough. I wish the heel was maybe half an inch higher and the overall boot maybe an inch taller. There isn't as much tapering around the ankle as I expected - I feel like I have cankles with these; but I didn't want to spend $150+ on Hunters so they're fine for what they are. I'm not sure if they'll look as nice as I want with skirts, though. I was concerned about the 15 inch circumference of the opening as I have small calves and most boots are way too large around my calves; but once you tuck in jeans or pants they're not too loose ( not super snug, though either). I had $25 off in coupons and certificates so these were a great bargain for me; if I had paid full price I might consider returning them and blowing my budget on Hunters.
