My 1st pr of Converse
" I've never wanted a pr of converse before but, while shopping at DSW one evening, my husband kept bringing me different colors of these shoes. He is a Converse fan and has a few pr that he wears. I finally caved in [for him] and opted for the traditional black & white in a size 7 ( I normally wear a perfect size 7.5 but these actually fit well). They felt a bit too snug for my liking but my husband promised me they would stretch out as I wore them and would become comfortable. First time out I wore no-show nylon footies and they were extremely uncomfortable on the vamp portion of the shoe. I couldn't wait to get them off when I got home from work. Next night, wore them with thin socks and again, I couldn't wait to get home to take them off. My 3rd night at work, I noticed the left foot felt way better..yaay. 4th night, the vamp on the right shoe wasn't as tight and more tolerable. 5th night, lo and behold, the right shoe was noticeably stretching out while the left shoe felt normal. I plan on wearing them again to work tomorrow night and expect the right shoe to feel more relaxed. If these never would've shown signs of stretching out to alleviate the pain on top of my feet (the vamp) , I would've returned these. I'm seriously thinking about getting another pr of these in red.

Great Slip-On
" I needed a white, slip-on, summer flat and these are perfect. I wore them all day while out shopping and didn't require a break in period. No blisters, no rubbing. Can we say "bonus" !! I'm going to look and see if these come in red, hopefully they do because that's how much I like this shoe. I wear a perfect size 7.5, M width and these are true to size for me.

Don't recommend
" Okay, so despite the reviews on this cute shoe, I ordered them anyway. I just really, really wanted them to work for me. But they didn't. The left shoe had no problem with the back strap but the right shoe did exactly what previous reviews stated..it kept slipping. Heel height was exactly what I wanted for their purpose. Would I call this shoe comfortable? That would be, not really. They aren't terrible but could use some support and padding. I walked around the house in these for a bit and promptly [and sadly] placed them back in the box and prepared them to be returned. Like I said, I really, really wanted these to work but was so disappointed that these weren't worth keeping. If the right shoe back strap would've stayed put, I probably would've just bought some nice padded inserts and kept them. But the back strap was the deal breaker for me. Too bad because they are a cute casual shoe

Attractive Flat
" These are my first pair of Audrey Brooke shoes. I chose this style for their versatility. Capris, shorts, skirts, dresses...work, casual, out & about. Yep, these fit all scenarios. I ordered my usual size which is a 7.5 and they fit fine. My first time wearing them was out shopping. No problems there. I have nothing negative to say about these shoes.

Attractive Red Shoe
" Shipping was super fast ! Thanx DSW :-) This shoe is narrow and that made it tight around the toe area. Since these are suede, they should stretch out over time. I chose these for a casual look to go with my skinnies and crop pants. If I wore summer dresses, I would definitely wear these like that. I'm considering going up from my perfect size 7.5 to an 8 in these just to see if they fit a bit looser but will wait to see if they do actually stretch out. I'm not disappointed in these shoes.

Returning these
" I ordered these shoes in pink. I've always wanted a pair of pink slip ons. These do run true to size (I wear a perfect 7.5). Not tight, not loose, good fit. Here's why I rated these only 4 stars...
The name plate on one of the shoes is offset (meaning not centered). They squeak while walking in them (not good ! ). Have you ever walked inside the Mall on a rainy day and your wet shoes squeaked on the tile ? Yep, that's the sound these make. The arch (foot bed) definitely feels different but once you get accustom to the support they provide, I doubt it would be noticeable. I would keep these if not for the poor placement of the metal name plaque and the squeak sound these produce while walking. I'm going to drive up to my DSW store and ask for a replacement for these because I really like them. "

Disappointed
" I ordered my normal size 7.5 but this shoe does not run true to size. After putting them on, my heel kept lifting out of them. So, I would say these run at a minimum, 1/2 size larger. I ordered the Dark Brown which is true to color but IMO, it isn't a very pretty brown. Needless to say, these were returned. I'm considering ordering this in another color (and 1/2 size smaller) to see how comfortable and how good of a fit that pair will be.

Very attractive
" I recv compliments every time I wear these. I purchased these in Grey because I liked the pattern better and feel they are more versatile. I would've given these 5 Stars but after wearing these for a few hours, it started to rub on the top of my foot (near my small toe) and that was uncomfortable. I'm hoping that the more I wear them, they will get a bit softer and not rub. The heel height is perfect for me. If I could change anything about this boot, I would give it a well padded insole. These are def not for cold, cold weather unless you want to wear thick, warm socks like I do.
Overall, I am very happy with these and will probably end up purchasing the other pattern/color because they are really that nice. "

I always wear a size 7 1/2 med. width shoe. These are a bit snug but I'm confidant that after a few wearings they will fit perfectly (so, really no need to go up a half size unless you like looser fitting slip ons). These are a well made, good quality, attractive casual shoe that I chose for wearing with jeans. I am so happy I found them on clearance. "

Quality Shoe

Very well made, casual shoe. I predominantly wear a size 7 1/2 medium width shoe and these feel like a size 8. Despite the disappointment with fit, I just put on a pair of heavy/thick socks to make them fit to my feet rather than return these. Had there been any previous reviews written about these shoes, I would've known to go a half size smaller. These are comfortable and [ I think ] trendy. I bought these on clearance so am really happy with the price as well ;-) "
