Interesting shoe

" It is an interesting cut, a sharp angle across the top of the foot then bare on the inside, an INTERESTING and rather avant garde design IMNHO. I LOVE the zebra printed horsehair upper in the front and the contrast of all-black in the heel area. I wore it for the first time today, all day, without mishap or problem. It runs slightly long, so I stuffed a bit of tissue in each toe and it firmed everything up. (Maybe it's not the shoe fit. Maybe my 9-1/2 sized feet are really 9-1/4 or something because I often have this problem (with a 9 being too small, and needing to stuff tissue into the toe of a 9-1/2).

I think it is a matter of getting used to such an unusual (at least for me) style. I've never had a d'Orsay style shoe before. It was comfy enough for what I did, but I doubt I'd wear it for an extended shopping trip. Maybe in time, after I get used to it, I might. I'm glad I bought it. I feel very chic wearing it with the proper choice of clothes (a well-cut pair of black jeans, black and white geometric print top and black jacket in my case) "
