Painful
" I bought these Lifestride flats in the nude color and those felt great (with an insert on the footbed for added support). This black version, however, was like torture on my feet. Even with the same insert as I used in the nude version, they just didn't fit right and the material on the inside of the shoe kept biting into my foot. Had to return these, but kept the nude version.

Good boot for the price
" For the relatively low price, this is a good boot. I've been looking for a good quality black boot with a mid heel that fits well around my narrow ankles and calves. This fit the bill. I wish the zipper went all the way up the shoe-- the partial zipper helps, but it is still a little difficult to pull the boot on over leggings without the leggings riding up. And the partial zipper opening isn't really big enough to reach in and tug your leggings or pants back down. But regardless, is it a good boot for the price-- I had much more expensive boots that I purchased and returned and have finally settled on this pair.

Cute but uncomfortable
" I love how these look, but unfortunately they are completely flat and have zero support. I wouldn't recommend these unless you have strong leg muscles. I have weak knees, so the impact on my legs after wearing these for a day was excruciating. Too bad, because I adore how they look. But again, if your legs are strong, I totally recommend them.

Cheap looking
" While I like the lower heel, the material is cheap- and plastic-looking. Also, the toe opening is too big to be considered peep-toe, so it ends up looking kind of dowdy.

Nice-looking and comfortable
" Glad I bought these boots. I wore them for the first time last night out in downtown Chicago and I didn't feel any discomfort. They look nice and fit the calf and ankles closely, which is important. My only wish would be that they were a little bit taller. I find it very difficult to find a boot that's tall (but not over-the-knee), doesn't sag, and has an average heel. This boot is the closest I've gotten (other than the tall part).
