So promising -- so uncomfortable
" In terms of appearance, these could have been my go-to sandals. But they were a non-starter in terms of comfort. The leather is so stiff as to have no give, and the edges are sharp. I didn't have any hope of the leather softening or relaxing, so I unhappily returned them.

everything I'd hope they'd be
" I ordered in two sizes to see which was comfortable with socks and would accommodate a problem with one toe. I usually wear an 8.5; decided to keep the 9. They look great, especially with the embossing, and are totally comfortable.

Sizing
" The European sizing chart is actually more accurate than the American (fortunately, I know my European size). Because these run a bit narrow, If you wear a half size, the next whole size up should suit you perfectly.
