Look like they got caught in a shredder
" The product I received did not resemble the photos online. Under some lighting the soles appear to be a cool grey, rather than the warm beige pictured, which may be due to natural light vs soft light.
Additionally, I have to wonder if these fell off the truck. The pair I received was sent separately from the rest of my order and I received it about a week later. When I opened the box I noticed that the soles had several large white scratches across them. In the product photos the edges of the soles appear weathered, like worn leather. The actual texture is like a glossy foam and the worn edges appear to be precariously cut. Perhaps the designers were looking for a well-loved leather look, but it actually looks sloppy. It's the same effect you see when using a dull blade on paper cutter.
They're a comfortable pair of tevas, but these look and feel so flimsy. I can see them falling apart in a month.
