Surprisingly comfy, but....
" A little long, so my toes did not reach as far out of the shoe as I would have liked. A little narrow, so the shoes were a bit challenging to actually get on and I had serious strap marks over the bridge of my foot and around my ankles at the end of the night.
That said, they were super comfy once on; the sole cushions exceptionally well and the arch hit in just the right place. I wore them to a wedding, stood for long periods of time, danced for hours and was really fine. My only wishes are that 1/4" could come off the front and the straps cold be lengthened by even less than that amount (maybe 1/16") - then we would have shoe perfection.
I usually wear a 9.5, occasionally a particular shoe is a bit big, sometimes one is a bit small. My ankles & calves are average size, I usually am comfortable in regular-width boots or any ghillie, ankle strap or lace-up shoe. "

These shoes are fantastic
" These shoes are perfect -- and thank heavens for that, because the ordering process was (surprisingly) full of glitches on DSW's side and I almost cancelled the whole thing in disgust.
The shoes feel a bit wide, but the laces can be tightened a bit to steady the foot from sliding about, which I think I prefer to a size smaller which would probably feel too short. I am normally between a 9 & 9.5 -- of late I have been preferring a 9.5 with a gel cushion sole insert and I think that addition will seal the deal here.
This chunky heel is super comfy and appropriate with dresses, shorts, jeans, pretty much anything. This will be my go-to vacation shoe for Summer! "
