Beautiful OTK Boots

" This item arrived neatly packaged in a huge box and well protected. For fitting reference, I am 5 07 with slim legs and wear size 8.5 regular width in most brands . I purchased this pair in the saddle. The color is beautiful and looks exactly how it's pictured on DSW. The suede is buttery soft and doesn't look nor feel cheap like other brands. In fact, the suede and lining is more on the heavy side and not flimsy. I haven't walked in them for long hours yet but I've read over 200 positive reviews that they're very comfortable. The insole is padded just enough for my feet to feel comfortable with them on. This pair has enough room for a pair of medium to thick socks. However, because it's more on the slim fitting side, I don't think thick socks will work if you have bigger calves. My only complaint is the boots slide down and scrunch towards the bottom. I think it's the combination of the heavy material, wide opening at the top and my skinny legs/ankles. I have to constantly pull them up which is annoying. I wished they would stay up because I don't like the scrunch look at the bottom. I tried them on with skinny jeans hoping the cotton material of the jeans keep the boots up but they still slid down. For me, this 8.5 runs big because I can place 2 fingers in the heel gap. The back clamp has to stay at the precise hole otherwise the top will get crinkled. I love the look and feel but not satisfied with the fit :-( "
