"I was between these and a pair of classic Sperry's. At the end of the day these Sebagos seem to be much sturdier both in the leather and in the sole. They are comfortable, but definitely on the stiff side and requiring a little break in. After coming off of my first pair of boat shoes(Bass), I expect to get 2-3 years out of a pair and I expect these are capable of that.
After years of wearing the typical size 12 in all my shoes, I've recently realized that its just not that simple. I'm a 12 in running shoes, 11.5 in just about everything else, and I go for 11s in boat shoes and any other shoes I wear without socks. These 11s fit me just as I would expect them too."
"At first glance, this is a beautiful shoe. However, after a closer look, some of the stitching is uneven and the painting is sloppy and uneven around the edges. I can live with all this, because it is a beautiful shoe, except for one thing. I put them on and walked around my apartment for a few minutes and immediately the left shoe developed cracks on the top of the foot like it had been worn a hundred times and not taken care of. Not what I expected from a new shoe. I'm not interested in finding out if the next pair will have the same quality issues."
