beautiful but tricky

" I'd been eyeing these shoes for quite awhile and finally caved. The photo is pretty true, although I'd say the patent upper is a little more a blush-colored nude than a neutral one. I love the glitter, which is gold but also seems to reflect pink hues in darker rooms. The platform is incredibly high and looks great, but the bottom of the wedge is very very narrow and therefore they're not as easy to walk in as most other wedges I've owned. I am a true 6 and find that these are well-sized if I wear them with the ankle strap. When I remove it, however, my heel slips out the back. I'll need to get a heel insert because I definitely planned to wear these without the straps. I recommend these to people who feel pretty comfy walking in heels -- but don't wear them if there's a lot of walking or standing in store for you! "

unique and comfy

" I'm very short and I love heels, but I also love comfort. These are the best of both worlds. I was drawn to their quirkiness. Walking in them takes a bit of practice; they're flat but there's also the potential to hit the ground wrong (i.e. when the side of the platform catches the ground, causing your ankle to give). I'd like to buy these in their regular nude patent leather as well. "

" I adore these shoes. I'm usually a 5.5 - 6 and ordered a 6; they fit nicely. I could maybe have ordered half a size down but it isn't an issue at all. I got them in "Nude Multicolor." The gold hardware is beautiful and I love the whimsy of the embellishments -- from tiny fabric flowers to beads and little stones. The ankle straps are a little big and don't hug your ankles. The heel has a carved pattern which is a nice touch! "
