Lightweight, comfy, simple
" I have been on the lookout for a very simple black athletic shoe for an upcoming trip. I need a lightweight cross trainer or running shoe for day hikes, stone temples, and situations requiring a closed toe shoe. My wardrobe is mostly grey and black, and I really wanted a plain shoe for versatility. These comfy kicks are winners. I switched the laces to black, and used a black sharpie to cover all the white markings. Now they are just plain black and grey, very easy to wear with street clothes. They feel breezy and look cool. Not waterproof, but they should dry quickly when they get wet. My size 10 pair weighs only twelve ounces, great for my light packing goal.
