Classic style & comfy!
" Years ago I had a pair of sandals like this (made by Sofft), but I wore them so much that over a few summers, I simply wore them out. So I was looking for a reasonably-priced, leather, mid-high heel, comfy sandal, that also had a flexible sole. A tall order! Also, I have a high instep (top of foot bone), so the top band(s) had to be lower, yet still supportive on the sides.
Well this is definitely it! I esp like the criss-cross pattern on the top (makes a visual "point" on top, elongating the whole leg), as well as the velcro closure (instead of buckle) on the side... makes it easy to slip on/off, and do smaller fit changes thru the day.
I'm 50 yrs old... and sure I used to wear the more "trendy" styles, but now that I'm wiser (haha) I look for comfort, along with style. Overall: this is a perfect mix of a more "classic" sandal that goes w/ everything, along with providing stable, walkable comfort. "

Great low-heel, comfy, but not clunky!
" I needed a black sandal with heels less than 2", and this one is very comfy, yet so pretty on the foot (most low heels are so clunky-looking). Usually I take a size 9.5 in sandals, but this one felt better a half-size up (10). Feels very stable with all those elastic bands cradling the foot - but not too tight, and very easy to walk. The top view of the straps form a kind of "diamond" in shape which is nice - frames the foot better than just a straight-across horizontal. I'll wear this mostly with skirts, but it would go well w/ anything I think. "

Snazzy, comfy, but not clunky-looking
" It's so hard to find a "more snazzy" yet comfy sandal under 2", that doesn't look too sporty or clunky, right? Well, this is it! I got it in pewter - not too shiny - more a "distressed" shine. Almost a "neutral" in color, but with some pizzazz. You could easily wear this w/ any color outfit, and WOW is it comfy, right out of the box. Love the diagonal configuration of straps on top ("shapes" the foot visually), and the fact that it has an arch pillow built in the footbed for more support (as most Born styles do). Also, the ankle strap's adjustable velcro closure makes small adjustments easy, which is great if you need to loosen that area later in the day. I'll be wearing this to work, church and for fun! "

Comfy and stylish!
" Bought two colors (champagne & red).... so comfy, but also stylish and I love the feminine touch w/ the leather "flower"! Don't let the height deter you from trying these... they feel very stable. The sole is also slightly flexible, so it's not like you're walking in "bricks", like some other types. I found them slightly long, but slingbacks are iffy that way sometimes. I plan to wear them for work and play. Recommend highly! "

Very comfy/stable/pretty... runs long/wide
" I bought these SpringStep wedges in the DSW Store - was looking for a pretty, but comfy, stable slingback to wear for casual workdays and wknd city outings, that might demand some walking. These sandals are VERY COMFY, and felt good right out of the box... but I found them long for the size, and a bit wide. I usually wear a 10M, but found it too long. Easily solved: the 9M worked best for me. I also found them slightly wide, but that will be fine for our hot Texas summers, since feet tend to swell. The slight wedge looks nice with skirts, and comfort-wise, they feel a bit like wearing padded slippers w/ an outdoor sole (love that). To me, they feel almost FLAT when I walk - very "stable", balance-wise. I esp like the cut-out pattern in the leather upper - stylish in a European way, and also allows for airflow.
I chatted w/ a few fellow shoppers when I tried them - all agreed they looked nice, and one even said: "they even make your foot look smaller" (SOLD!). Overall, I recommend highly, esp if your foot is a bit wider than M, but suggest ordering a half- or full size DOWN from your normal size, if possible. "
