"I had been wanting to try some Mix No. 6 shoes for a while because of the cute designs and low prices. These shoes are pretty cheap ($25 at the time I write this) so for the price, they are just about what I expected. The quality is very cheap, with the upper of the shoes being of a rather thin material. Also, they are loose when the feet are at rest (legs crossed or feet hanging off something) and tight when in active use (walking or standing). I wore them out for a night after some time breaking them in, and they were still pretty uncomfortable. Still, if you want some cheap shoes that look cute, these are pretty decent. I wouldn't wear them all day, though-- I wore them for about 5 hours and I could already feel the outer edges of my toes getting irritated by the way the shoes rubbed against my feet."

Husband's Review: Lightweight
"The shoes are comfortable but they do not hold up well to a lot of use. Maybe they'd be great as beach shoes, I don't know. But I work outside a lot and these shoes did not hold their shape. The strings on the outside that look like they are purely aesthetic seem to serve a structural purpose, which I discovered when one broke and the shoe started flopping around. That being said, I still wear my pair almost every day. They crumple oddly under my feet sometimes, but they are really light and comfortable."

Worn a few times, well-sized
"I am a standard size 8.5M and the sold of these shoes fit the outline of my feet perfectly-- not too large and no overhang in the front or the back. The initial try-on was a bit difficult because of the structure of the straps, but after a couple of wears they loosened up. They are still the tiniest bit tight, but the material of the straps gets a little more pliant with each wear. I love how the floral pattern on the soles is visible under the toes! Very cute!"
"These shoes are not a good deal. I used to love Steve Madden shoes because they were such great basics that really stood up to use. When I tried these on, they looked great, but after just one wear, the sides gave out and loosened up out to the sides. No arch support whatsoever, which I tend to expect from flats, but the soles on these are super-thin, as are the sides, which weren't even structured enough to hold up to a lightweight five-hour workday. When I took my feet out of the shoes the first day, the foil from inside had rubbed off onto my feet! Gross! Steve, you and I are over! It's not me, it's you."
