" The material upper of the boots has a slightly different texture than appears in the picture, and the boots carried a noticable odor. When I opened the box I was assaulted by an unusual smell. The smell went away after several days out of the box, but it was extreme when first opened. These boots are obviously not made of genuine leather, but they are a satisfactory purchase. "

Bittersweet

" These boots look very sleek and pretty. I bought them in black and love the suede/smooth leather contrast. However, I was not expecting the circumference of the shaft to be so large. If you have skinny calves, these boots are not for you. I have average size legs and still ended up tightening all of the buckles. As a result, the leather overlaps and causes the boots to look like they are too big. I'm happy with the comfort factor and the materials but not the sizing of the shaft. "

Yes, I Adore Them

" These shoes are very comfortable and stylish. They have good quality stitching and substantial soles which should last a really long time! They run slightly large if you do not wear socks, but they fit perfectly with a pair of warm socks. "
