Great bargain
" These booties are perfect for an inexpensive shoe experience. They are cute and comfortable. The zippers are a little hard to operate and the shoe is clearly not high end, but if you don't want to spend a lot of money for a western style bootie that you rotate with your other shoes, this is a great deal. I wore them all day yesterday for the first time and they were comfortable. The ankle is not snug, so be prepared for that. The quilted back is popular now. I bought the cognac - it's a medium brown/tan color. I wear a 6.5 M - the shoe is true to fit - plenty of room.

Good value
" I love New York Transit shoes because of the price, comfort, and style when I want an occasional shoe to jazz up my jeans, etc. I have an older pair in black; saw these and was not disappointed. The straps are material, not faux leather, which increases the comfort. The height and shape of the heel also increase the comfort. And they are super cute. I wear 6.5 M and these are true to size.

Nice but....
" I ordered these in black. This is a rather plain, conservative shoe that works well for work or church, etc. It fits well (size 6.5M) and heel height is comfortable. My only problem with these is the buckle. It is very difficult to work it. I hope it eases up after a few times. Buckles and zippers should work easily -- this does not. Perhaps it is just this particular pair.

Cute but kinda weird
" First time trying this brand, but my usual size 6.5M fit perfectly. The shoe is a little difficult to get into - unless I'm totally missing how to open the strap. It didn't open and I had to put on the shoes by unzipping the back and sliding my foot in under the strap. The shoe, however is SO CUTE! Will look great with white or other jeans or skirts/dresses. Once you get it on, it's very comfortable. This is a shoe that you wear once in a while as a cute accessory - not for everyday wear.

Cute but short
" Like another reviewer, I found this adorable shoe to run quite short. I normally wear a 6.5 but returned it because my heel hung over the back. Now waiting on a size 7 and hope it's not too wide. The shoe is great looking (I chose silver) and very comfortable otherwise. Great price.

Cute shoe but odd fit
" Love the look of the shoe. But the woven back is so soft it feels like it is collapsing when you try to put on the shoe. Eventually you can form it around your heel and once actually on it's ok. Also, the rise of the shoe is a little odd, at least on me. Hard to describe. Very low vamp. Cute when on. Not sure how long I'll be able to walk around in these, but for the price I'm keeping them.

Great shoes
" These shoes look much better in person than in the picture. They are very comfortable and look more expensive than they are. I'm an older woman who still wears heels to work everyday. Believe me - these are comfortable shoes.

Would recommend BUT...
" This is a beautiful shoe, but it is not a smooth bronze leather. It has a black speckled top coat over gold bottom (I know it sounds weird but it is really pretty). The problem: first time I wore them, the black top coat wore off and left rather large, irregular gold spots showing through. I dabbed black marker on the spots, which worked pretty well. I still love the shoe but will wear them ONLY on special occasions and be very careful in them. They are not meant for every day use. Too bad cause they are really pretty and look great with black dresses, skirts, or slacks. If you need a fancy shoe, this is a good buy at this price.

" Very comfortable booties. I bought a 6.5 and the fit is perfect. Wore them to work all day and was perfectly comfortable. The heel height is just right. Very happy with this purchase.

Classy shoes
" These are beautiful classy shoes, much prettier than the pictures indicates. I ordered a 6.5 and find them a little snug, but think a 7 would have been too big. I bounce back and forth between 6.5 and 7, but if you can sometimes wear a 7.5 I would definitely get the 7. The shoe has excellent support and feels so good on my feet. Well made and very classy.

Pretty shoes!
" I bought these pumps in black. Normally I'm size 7, but these are a little roomy. With ankle strap, it doesn't matter - the shoes are secure. I have enough wiggle room to wear tights or stockings. Very seriously considering the yellow pair but will try a 6.5. Love Rocket Dog styles.

Nice boots but....
" The suede on these boots is very nice. The toe is round, not pointed like the picture looks. I had a little trouble getting the boot on, but once on the fit was perfect and the boot is very comfortable (size 7). My only problem with this boot is the way it slouches in front. There is quite a gap in the front because of this, making the boot stand away from your ankle. I'm not sure how jeans will fit over it. I think they will look great with a skirt. I'm keeping them - the overall quality of the boot is good.

Adorable shoes!
" This sandal works well with dresses, skirts, or jeans. The ankle strap is a tad uncomfortable at first because of where it hits on the ankle. I purchased the black, tan, and yellow. I usually wear a size 7, but bought a size 6.5 in one pair (yellow) because the 7 is just a little long. My width is Medium, and I did not experience any sliding around in the shoe ( the size 7) that others describe. As the day wore on, the shoes became more comfortable. I love the height of the heel and the look of the shoe. Haven't worn the 6.5 yet, but have tried them on and they feel fine, too.
