Leather almost 'too' soft and front end too narrow
" I was disappointed to discover that the top part of the shoe (where base of my toes start) was significantly narrow for the rest of the shoe's construction (and I don't have a particularly wide foot either.) As the leather was so soft (almost unreal to the point of being tear-prone), I decided to try wearing them around the house for 20 minutes to see if my foot would get used to it. No such luck, it was either risking eventual foot numbness or splitting the leather or side seam open. Too bad as the shoe has that nice handmade in Italy look. "

Great look, way too short
" After ordering my typical size 11 1/2, only to be shocked at how small the shoe was, I exchanged it for a 12 (online purchase again). Much to my dismay, the 12 was a 'snug' fit which, after one hour of wearing (sockless) was killing my feet. I love the look of the shoe so much that I'm about to order a size 13 (a rarity) in the hope that it won't be TOO loose as a result. I suppose I can always put an insole in it worse case scenario.
Otherwise, the navy blue option is just as appealing as the picture reveals. A nice, summer look! (Must wear sockless or with low ankle socks though otherwise it will kill the look!
