Even more awesome than I expected

" These are my new favorite work shoes (I ordered them in black). Not only are they super cute, especially with pants when the buckle just peeks out, but they are way more comfortable than I expected. There is a huge cushion layer on the bottom, which is like walking on little pillows, and yet somehow the shoes are still a perfect fit. I can usually wear 8.5 or 9, and I got these in an 8.5 and they fit great. If there is any downside to these shoes it is that they are suede-ish, but it's nothing a little weatherproofing spray can't solve. "

I can fight elves in these boots!

" These boots are awesome. They look great with skinny jeans. Two things to note, though. I have long calves (I'm 5'9") and these boots didn't make it "over the knee". I'm totally okay with that, it happens all the time, but just be aware that the overall length of the boot is on the shorter side of "over the knee". Second, the circumference at the top of the boot is a little wide. Maybe this is part of the over the knee thing, but it didn't fit my legs as snugly as I would've liked. It makes for a more slouchy boot than I expected. Again, totally okay with it, just a little different than I thought it would be. Also, I was a little worried about the 8.5 size because I'm sometimes an 8.5 and sometimes a 9. But the 8.5 is a good fit, even with thicker socks. "
