Scrapes at the ankle
" These shoes are really cute. I always wanted a pair like these but didn't want to pay $20+ (I'm cheap like that). Trying them on, they felt great. A little wobbly but it was fine.
I bought the clear color which was slightly blue. I really wanted an all clear shoe but the blue tint is fine as I have plenty of blue clothes to match.
Actually wearing them out, ooph. First off, the strap cuts through the back of your heel. I can easily place some cotton balls and tape on my heels, but if I don't want to wear socks with them (or even sheer socks), it would look silly. Band aids are too sheer to avoid it cutting through you, as I have already tried that. But even when I use the cotton ball method, my ankles look silly and bulky which is not cute. So I have to wear pants with these.
Secondly, when you're actually walking, expect a loud and obnoxious flopping sound. The strap is a little too high compared to wear the platform is so the shoe is a little on the loose side. Expect to have your ankles bend in with the slightest crack in the street. Not to mention the sole of the shoe is completely hard plastic. So any sudden tilts of the platform and your ankle with collapse.
Lastly, if your toe nails are on the longer side, they will go in between the slits at the top of the shoe. It's weird and uncomfortable, but depending on the socks yours wearing, you can prevent it.
If you're okay with slightly uncomfortable/awkward feeling shoes, this shoe will be great. If you're looking for comfort, I do not recommend these at all.

Cheaply Made
" I loved how these shoes looked. They seriously went with everything I had in my wardrobe. They were extremely comfortable and decent to walk in.
The elastic around the foot made the shoes a little wobbly. Because of this, I often stepped in cracks the wrong way and my ankle would bend inward (hopefully you understand what I mean). Thus the stitching binding the elastic to the platform began to fall apart. I returned the shoe but because I was in love with how it looked, I decided to buy it again. But alas, a block into walking on Halloween night and the stitching began to break off again.
I normally do fine with platforms. It's rare that my ankle bends but something about the construction made it happen too often. I guess if you're a pro at platforms and there are absolutely no cracks on your sidewalks, you'll do fine. But theyre very cheaply made so I would just watch out.

Super Flashy
" I haven't worn these shoes outside yet because I'm still trying to coordinate the perfect outfit for them, but just trying them on, they're amazing. To me, they look like blue Ronald McDonald shoes (which is why I love them). They're very clunky and chunky looking, which is what I wanted. Definitely over-the-top. There's hardly an arch on the inside, so it feels like you're walking on ground level.
The only negative is how narrow the shoe is. I'm normally an 8, but they didn't have my size so I went to 8.5 and they were still quite narrow. The length was long considering I got a half size up (I'd assume the length would have been just right if I had gotten an 8). I'm still debating whether to keep them because of how narrow they are for me.
