Fantastic Boots, for about a month.
" I purchased these boots a little over a month ago, and put them into my regular boot-rotation. I've got about 4 pair and I generally don't wear any of them 2 days in a row, so these boots have been worn maybe a total of 15-20 times. I only wear them to work, and I work a desk job - so I'm not mountain climbing, or trailblazing. I hardly even walk outside.
They're already falling apart.
So far: several of the eyelets are popping out (and I haven't once used the laces, since these have a zipper) The mid-point between where the uppers meet the lowers has started to tear (this happened on the 2nd or 3rd wearing, actually). Worst of all, there's a bizarre 3-inch long metal bar that sits under the sole-lining, under your heel. This metal bar has come loose in both boots and started to slide around, causing extreme discomfort until I ripped up the lining and removed it. Finally, the leather on the inside of the boot is starting to pull away from the outer, which can make getting them on extremely uncomfortable until you get those loose material flaps settled down.

I have to say - I'm a huge Steve Madden fan, and most of their shoes fit perfectly and never give me any problems. But I paid close to $100 for these and feel like I got a $10 pair of boots. Extremely disappointed.
