Beware - Don't get them wet!!
" Really cute look and the painted colors add a detail that make them unique and a conversation piece. However, they are not really very comfortable. They run small - you will have to get at least 1/2 size larger and possibly more if you want your toes to make it longer than 4 hours. They are lined inside with vinyl, so it does not stretch and does not breathe - so you need the 1/2 size to give your toes some room. Also...I had the misfortune of wearing them in a little rainstorm and the bottom got a little wet just above the sole. Now, I have about a 1/4 inch grey line around the bottom - it has the appearance that the cork is moldy. It's small enough that I can still wear them without being noticed but I will make darn sure there is no rain in the forecast when I do, and will throw them out after this season.

Don't even think about getting your regular size
" This shoe was really cute on, but runs extremely small. I am normally a 7, and the 7.5 fit -- just barely -- with the store nylons. To wear a thin trouser sock, I needed to get the 8. However, this made the heel a little lose, but with the actual socks I will use it will be ok. I wish it were leather so the fit would be more precise but it is cute and comfortable for the height so I will make it work.

Just So-So
" I used to love Franco Sarto shoes for their perfect fit and quality of manufacturing until the company started making all the shoes in plastic yet still charging the leather price. I thought this pair was leather upper, but closer inspection after I wore it was that the "mixed man-made and leather upper" meant that the only leather in the upper shoe were the laces. Turned out to be a huge disappointment. The shoe is a cute design and looks good on...but definitely feels like a synthetic design that will not ever adjust to your foot and become your favorite shoe. Plus, leather laces are just a PAIN to keep tied! I wore them, so I will keep them and use them occasionally, but I cannot recommend them.

This one was a miss.
" Definitely looks better in the picture than in person. This didn't have a flattering look when on, and the shoe itself was narrow and runs at least 1/2 size short. Leather and construction appear to be good quality. I am taking them back, but it might work for you if you order a half size up.

Perfect!
" This little bootie is so comfortable! I can wear it all day with no sore or tired feet. The kitten heel is perfect to dress it up just enough for jeans or dress slacks and the buckle detail is just enough to set it apart from others. Best bootie I have purchased in many years!

Best bootie ever!
" I got the dark brown ones, and just love them! This is the perfect little casual bootie to wear with jeans. They feel slightly narrow out of the box, but this is no issue when I wear with thin socks. Even so, they've already even loosened a bit, so I expect that after about two more wears, I won't have to even think about that. These are going to be my go-to "flat" shoes for a very long time!

So cute, but didn't work
" I really, really wanted to make this shoe work. It is so cute -- different from everything else out there, and a nice transition piece for fall. Unfortunately, it was just a little too high for me (even after figuring in the platform part) and left my foot/ankle at an angle that would not let me make it through the day. Of course, this won't be an issue for everyone - so you can make your own judgement there.
The straps across the top of the toes and middle of the foot were just right - snug but not too tight. But for me, the strap across the ankle was not tight enough, and caused my heel to slip. I might have dealt with the height of the shoe if this wasn't happening.
The last thing to mention is that the shoe looks tan in this picture, but it really is more of an olive green suede with the chocolate brown elastic straps.
If you are used to heels of this height, I think you will like the shoe.

TOO CUTE!
" I am surprised how comfortable this shoe is for its height and for not having any padding along the sole. Given the platform part of it, it ends up being about a 3 1/4 inch heel height. I wear mostly a 7 and sometimes a 6.5, depending on the shoe. I tried on both sizes and really couldn't tell a difference. I ended up buying the 7 since I will be wearing them without nylons or socks and thought that it would give my feet a little extra room to expand in the summer heat. I bought these in cognac, but didn't know they had a green until I came to the website to write the review.....now I just might have to get a second pair!
I'm only giving 4 stars because 4 1/2 wasn't an option. I will have to 'break in' one of the toe openings that rubs just the tiniest bit right now....but since these are leather, that will only take one good day of wear using a bandaid on the spot. Also...if they had put even the smallest bit of cushioning on the sole, it would make them that much more perfect.
Definitely recommended. They are just an adorable shoe, and are going to be perfect after a day of break-in for the toe opening. Get them!!

Perfect little black sandal
" I found this shoe on 30% clearance, but probably would have paid full price for it. It is a perfect size heel to give your leg some lift and shape, while not being too high for practicality. There is a good bit of extra padding right on the ball of the foot to make it feel like you are walking on sneakers instead of heels. The side straps are a bit stretchy, so when you zip them up, they have a great sturdy feel. The zipper accent gives them that touch of "edginess" that makes them super cute to look at! I get tons of compliments!
