Fit for walking
" This shoe is extremely comfortable. It's not like a ballet flat where you can feel the ground as you walk. There is support from the heel and there is a lot of padding inside, including a built up arch pad. Because of the all-around cushion, they feel roomy but secure. They don't pinch at the toes or at the heel (I have average width feet). They don't rub anywhere at all. I often feel like flat shoes with pointy toes make my feet look long and flat, but these don't. They're right in between so they're not too pointy, but not so round they look like a child's shoe. Great shape all around. I'm a size 8 50% of the time, and an 8.5 the other 50% of the time. I took an 8 in these. "

Legitimately comfortable
" I saw these online but didn't think I loved them because I usually go for a higher heel (4" or so). I was in the store and about to buy a pair of flat sandals with an ankle strap, when I saw these and thought, oh, try 'em on. They are seriously more comfortable than any flat sandal I tried in the store, and I left the flat sandals behind. I'm 50/50 btw an 8 and an 8.5, and an 8 in these are perfect. The straps aren't tight anywhere and don't rub anywhere, which I consider kind of miraculous. The heel doesn't feel high at all and is very flattering to the foot/leg. I wore shopping for a few hours and they are perfectly fine for walking. The sole is rubber and not slippery. For me, the arch support and ball-of-foot support was great. You could easily put a sticky pad on the ball of the foot to fix that if you needed. When I got home I even wore them around the house for a while. I could easily wear them all day at work and then out at night. I wish they came in more colors, I would buy a second pair (not really a fan of the pale beige color). "

Would give 4.5 stars
" I love these, bought the tan color and considering buying the black. I think my true size is an 8 but I very often (almost half the time) have to go up to an 8.5. These fit with a size 8, no question, with even some breathing room so I know they won't choke my feet after a night of wear. I thought without a platform that these would make my feet/toes look long, but they don't, they are extremely cute and funky. They look high quality. The tongue is not restricting and the toe strap is not tight (a problem I always have with strappy sandals). The arch is curved for some support (feels better than most heels). Block heel makes them sturdy. The only comfort problem I feel is some scraping on the back/sides of my ankle from the top edge of the heel cover and the straps. I have this problem often because my ankle bone sticks out far. I think I can fix this with sticky pads, or the leather will soften up on its own. "

Cute boots!
" I love booties because you can wear them under pants, over skinny pants or leggings, or with shorts or a skirt or a dress. They're pretty much all I wear in the winter, so I'm excited to have these in brown. Since they're not suede, I'm not afraid to get em a little dirty! These aren't as comfortable as I would like--they're a little hard in the sole and my pinky toe gets crunched when I walk (even though it feels like there's plenty of room in there when I put them on). The heel is deceivingly high, which I guess is responsible for the toe smushing. If I was going to wear these walking all day, I'd put a bandaid on the toes and maybe some thicker socks (there's definitely room for socks) and figure that would fix the problem! I like that the ankle opening is on the narrow side, so it fits easily under bootcut jeans. The look of them is just what I wanted! "
