Would recommend
" I had to go half a size down--they were a little roomy. But they're really cute--the distressed look is nice and they're perfect to throw on with jeans or whatever.
I do kind of feel that they look like little kid shoes, though...maybe it's the polka dots, maybe it's the short toe. Who knows. Does it even matter? Probably not.

Narrow calf!
" I was thrilled to find these boots, and even more so when I received them--they were sturdy, pretty rain boots. However, they do run very narrow in the calf--I have smaller calves and these were still snug. I bought a 10 and everything was true-to-size otherwise, but realistically I needed an 11 just for the calf (and even then, more room would have been nice).
Try them on first! Or, if you have tiny calves, go for it--they're really cute boots and very well-made.

Cheap.
" I was looking for a nicer combat-style boot with a heal...this seemed to be perfect. Unfortunately, I found them to look very cheap--frayed stitching, ragged edges, fake-looking material, cheap buckle detail. They fit well enough and they were comfortable--even with the heal, but I returned them nonetheless.
I paid full price for them and for that kind of money, I want a shoe that's going to look like it was worth it.
