"I like this shoe's look. It has pretty fabric and seems well made. The twine braiding on the heel seems well glued down. The straps also pass my basic inspection. However, looks aren't everything. Putting these shoes on, I could strap them in rather easily, but once I stood up and walked around in them the story changed. Firstly, the shoes aren't very well balanced. I had a pretty concerning case of the wibbly-wobblies in these shoes. Additionally, my foot felt overall too big in the shoe despite it being my usual 11M. It was both too short and too narrow. But what really made me say no was the cutting-into-my-toe business going on with the braided-in chain. I wish there was a backing on the toe strap, something to brace my toes from the hard chain. Oh well. Overall, I wouldn't really recommend these shoes. Even if you can size up (which you should if you have your heart set on these) I would still be wary of the abrasive chain. Try these on first before you commit to them!"
"I would give this shoe six stars if I could, but of course that would make no sense to change the whole rating system for this shoe :) However, my point remains. I love this shoe! Firstly, it's gorgeous. It looks gorgeous in the box and on my feet. The color is just as pictured on the listing. (Of the pictures I've included, the one of just the shoes shows the right color. The other picture with the shoes on my feet has a weird white balance that I couldn't quite correct.) The leather is sewn strong in the joints and the pattern is crisply cut. The material is also soft and of good quality. Now I was nervous about buying this because wedges haven't worked on me in the past and these are really really tall - I was worried I would get the wibbly-wobblies. But it just so happens that these shoes are some of the easiest heels/wedges to walk in I've ever tried on! The balance is just perfect. What's more, they're the perfect fit - not too narrow nor short. Overall, I would highly recommend this shoe!"

"I usually wear an 11M, however, I know that for whatever reason, pumps in 11M are always too small on me. So I ordered these shoes in a 12M and am judging their comfort based on my standard shoe size being adjusted up for heels.
The shoes are comfortable and have the perfect width, but run a touch too long. Even on my left foot (which is slightly larger than my right) my heel slip out of the shoe. As such I got heel stops and with those in place, the shoes now fit like a glove!
Which begs the question... how well does a glove fit?
Anyway, the print on the cow fur is crisp, but not as black and white as pictured. The black stripes are more dark dark brown than black and the whites are more off white/eggshell than pure white. I think the pictures I've provided show the creaminess of the colors. That being said, the shoes are still wonderful looking and would compliment a black or white outfit. It's really only under close inspection that the pattern looks more browned-out than b&w.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this shoe!"

Beautiful shoe, but perhaps 1/2 size up!
"It was an odd experience with this shoe. In the store, they fit comfortably and I loved them, but a day after I brought them home, something about the air in my room caused them to shrink or something. Putting them on in-house, they were kind of small. I wish I could size up half a unit with these - they would be perfect then.
Otherwise, these shoes are very pretty. But with the wrong ensemble, yes, they can look a bit witchy."
"I usually wear a women's 11M, and I didn't want to chance it so I went into my local DSW to try these on. I think the actual size conversion would be a 9.5 Men's from an 11M Women's, but with those, I could feel the steel plate cut over the top of me toes. So, I got a 10 Men's!
And woah. These are the most comfortable shoes I own. I love them. I mean, don't get me wrong, I got them because I work in the wood shop, but even if I didn't I would still get these shoes. They're so darn comfy.
Now I've only had them about a week, but they're holding up nicely. And I actually tapped the steel toe against a metal wall bracer and BANG. It was loud.
Overall, I highly recommend these! Just try them on first to get the right size and comfort."

Beautiful and well made, just poorly balanced
"I really love this shoe, it looks wonderful on my footies. However, they're darn near impossible to walk in. That little black nib on the heel is long gone, and I've only worn these shoes thrice! I've tried adjusting my gate in every possible manner, but nothing seems to please these shoes. My balance, which is already not great, is horrible in these. Really, the only way I can wear them is if I know any walking I'll be doing is very short and most of my time will be spent sitting.
I think the only way I'll be walking comfortably in these shoes is if I walk a walk worthy of the Ministry of Silly Walks.
I think the problem is the looseness around my heel - there's too much room for my heel to wiggle and as such the heel stem itself wiggles too. Oh well."
