Love the Shimmer
" I bought these to imitate the French Repetto brand that I oh-so-love but can't seem to bring myself to spend the 300+ euros on. I tried themout yesterday for the first time to break them in with about 2hrs or city walking. They took a bit of time to get used to as the leather is a bit stiff and rubbed my big toe, but nothing that I couldn't handle.
I love how they are loud without being too crazy and noticeable. After walking on the sidewalk for the day, they are creasing a bit in the leather and seem to show a bit of scuffing already on the toes which make me sad. Luckily, I think I can pick up some metallic rub/polish and fix them right up in case it gets too noticeable. With a show that has no lip in the front, this kind of wear is to be expected with excessive walking.
If you are between sizes, I recommend sizing down. I bought them in an 8 and 81/2 and went with the 8. "

Perfect shoe for the wedge sneaker trend
" Since wedge sneakers are in for the spring, I wished to buy some that were comfortable and not too pricey in case the style went out in less than a year.
These were a great option. I got them in the mint color and they were very comfortable and gave me nice height.
I ended up opting for a different pair, but only because the colors fit better with my wardrobe.
My only complaint for these shoes is that the materials (canvas with leather accents) was EXTREMELY stiff. They lace all the way up a slim ankle, so I found them very difficult to get on and off. I am sure they would loosen up in time, but at first... they might be a little bit of struggle, especially for those with wider feet/ankles. I have very narrow ankles and had problems.
If you are between sizes, go up. I chose an 8 and 8 1/2 and the 8 1/2 definitely fit better. "

Great shoe for price- high arches beware
" I ALMOST kept these shoes, but I have a fairly high arch and my feet lifted out of the shoe even when I was at rest. I was bummed b/c I loved them in the nude and was hoping to get them in the mint and possibly tangerine/salmon color as well. They are quality looking for the price.
My only complaint is that the leather on the upper seemed a bit synthetic feeling though the label said it was real leather.
Size wise, I am an 8-8 1/2 depending on the shoe and the 8 1/2 was definitely the better choice. If you are in between sizes like me, I recommend going up in size.

Very cute, but not incredibly comfy
" I recently moved to Toronto so plan to do a lot of city walking. In order to prepare myself I ordered a few different flats. I ended up returning these because they were too wide for my fit. I would say I have normal to narrow feet. I usually fit shoes no problem when it comes to width.
The other issue is that they were pretty stiff. They looked and felt almost like a starched canvas. I am sure they would have loosened up after a while, but they were too wide for me to try it.
Sad, because they are REALLY adorable. They definitely look runway worthy vs. a cheap knock off. I am not surprised those as Tahari has quality and fashionable products.
