" I love these boots. The fit is comfy. I normally where an 11 (these boots are an 11)and they are right at my toe in the boot but not an uncomfortable fit. The only thing that would make these boots outstanding is if they had a zipper. The zipper would probably take away from the style. The zipper would make it easier getting the boot on and off. I don't mind though. Females with wider calves should avoid. I have an average calf and I love the fit. They keep my legs and feet warm bc this boot stops just below my knee and I'm 5'9. Rain, sleet, or snow you will love these boots. I'm getting another pair of Sorel boots (different style) I'm going to go for a size up to accommodate thicker socks.

**Wide Width Need Not Apply**
" If you have a wide width feet, or a foot with no arch, please avoid this shoe. This shoe runs narrow and it runs a little short. This could be due in part to maybe European sizes (me guessing). I thought I would wear them in an effort to break them in and because they matched my outfit. This was a no go.
Also the sole is not like a regular sole so it takes sometime to get use to walking on the grooves of the sole.
