Perfect Zoo Wedding Shoes!
" I plan on wearing these beauties for my zoo wedding this July! They're gorgeous, low enough to be comfortable and somehow not frumpy looking. Much better quality than anything I was able to find after months of searching, and the reptile embossing makes the material look much more expensive than other smooth silver shoes I had seen. Can't wait to wear them & dance the night away! "

SO MANY COMPLIMENTS
" After I saw these in store, I couldn't stop thinking about them for 2 weeks. When I finally caved & bought them, I wore them EVERYWHERE for 4 days straight because 1) I love them & 2) they went with everything I wore. I could not walk through the halls without getting at least 3 compliments. I wear mine laced but not tied, with the laces spread a bit to give my foot room to breathe. I love that I can wear them with my team tee for game day (yay Fighting Irish) or with a t-shirt dress & funky jewelry. The metallic is a great pop of texture with any outfit & the color blocking helps them look grown-up, instead of swiped from the kid's section. Best. Purchase. Ever. "

Great for work
" My workplace specifies "closed toe sandals" in our dress code & these fit the bill perfectly. Casual enough to mix with lots of outfits, but dressy enough for a work environment.
These were comfortable for an 8 hour work day, though possibly not durable enough for everyday wear. The basket area over the toes is showing signs of wearing-in/creasing after 5-7 uses, but they still look great! "

A twist on a classic
" I have long feet, and thought that a daintier version of my standby classic sneakers would be cuter. However, there's something about the proportions of the toe cap, laces & sole that just doesn't work for me. Unfortunately, this wasn't something I could tell until I tried them on my feet. The shoes were cute, but just didn't hit the mark for me.
These shoes come in half sizes elsewhere, but DSW doesn't sell them, so the 9s I ordered were too long, where 8s would have been too short. This is not the fault of the retailer, just a sizing issue for my feet in particular.
That being said, I love ordering from DSW because when things like this happen, the returns process is SO EASY!! "

Cute, but not for me
" Past reviewers who remarked that this shoe runs long were right! I took their advice & ordered a full size smaller than normal. The boot was still slightly too long, but I figured a pair of thick socks would solve that problem. The construction & materials are excellent, the leather was high quality and I LOVED the pop of pink in the back (although not visible while wearing, since these need to be zipped up or they will fall off your feet)!
Ultimately, I decided to return the boots for 2 reasons:
1. They were too western inspired to work with my wardrobe (they looked more costume than authentic on me).
2. The shaft of the boot was much too wide to tuck into pants, but looked strange with skinny jeans tucked into the shaft. Maybe it was just me, but these seemed hard to style.

" I LOVE these shoes. The tassels, the detailing, all of it. I wear them to work at a law office with basic black & they always get compliments. I wear them on the weekends with jeans & a bright blazer, so much more comfortable than heels, but just as stylish.
I usually wear a 9 or 9.5. I ordered an 8, but definitely could have fit a 7.5. I suspect that these shoes were manufactured/sized using a men's mold, since almost all these reviews state that the sizing runs very large.
They don't have much arch support, but for the price, a basic insert works just fine. Being synthetic, your foot may sweat but cleaning with a baby wipe after each wear, OR sprinkling in some baking soda works just as well to prevent odor. "
