Good Shoe
" I bought these after buying the Danity version, hoping I would love these just as much...but I don't. These are a unisex shoe (mine have the men's size on the bottom), with the sole of a regular Converse shoe (they are heavy, for me), and the elastic on the back pinches after having walked in them for several hours. I contemplated on sending them back, but had gotten them at a good price...then I wore them, so now I'm stuck with them! "

My New Favorite Shoe!
" Lightweight and extremely comfortable, they fit true to size and are a chic, feminine take on Chuck's. Breaking in time was minimal, and these are my everyday-go-to shoes. I only wish I could have gotten the white in my size.<3 these! "

Audrey Brooke Studded Clutch in Black
" Cute little purse. I bought this clutch to replace a Guess clutch I carried around until it started to fall apart. Although I had read the size dimensions, it is still a little bigger than I had expected (which is great for me...oversized clutches are a great styling option for the day!), and the leather is super soft. I was a little 'iffy' on the studs (I prefer a sleeker design, but for the price/size, I could not find anything less expensive in leather), but they are starting to grow on me, and I like the fact that they are a silver tone vice gold. My only complaint (if you can call it that) is that the description reads that the wristlet strap is removable...it is and it isn't. It is more accurately ‘adjustable’; the hook on the wristlet came attached to the other side of the clutch so it looked like a mini shoulder bag. You can wear it like that, I suppose, or like a wristlet as pictured. I was hoping that it would detach completely, so that I could wear it 'only' as a clutch, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I came back to DSW.com to purchase the yellow until I read the color description is lime green, so I’ll just stick with the black! "

" My fellow Shoe-A-Holics, when I saw these shoes I had to have them; my only dilemma was which color I should buy! I had owned a pair of shoes similar to these in college, but instead of opting for my usual black, I decided to go with a fall favorite, cognac.
The Style: These shoes have style to the nines! From the structured heel to the sizeable platform, the cut out pattern on the vamp to the rich suede color and feel, this is definitely one of my most stylish pumps for the fall! The 5.25-inch heel is manageable enough for me, and while the platform may lessen the height, the smooth outsole could be an issue for an inexperienced heel walker (see note under ‘Other Considerations’).
The Fit: When I tried these on, right out of the box they were perfect: the length, the width and the arch support. At that time, I thought these could be the perfect Steve Madden shoes! But my opinion has changed slightly after having worn these beauties out and about. The width wasn’t too much of a concern for me, although there was a slight pinching the more I walked in these shoes; but I think the pinching was a result of my foot sliding forward in the shoe (strange, because the insole was no different than any other pair of Maddies I own), which created a feeling that my heel was going to ‘pop’ right out of the shoe if I walked too fast. I shall have to invest in a pair of ‘anti-slip’ pads for my next wear.
I have heard it said by my ‘style insiders’ that as you go up in height (with the heel of the shoe) you should go down in size (in terms of length of the shoe) in order to stabilize the heel; I bought my usual size 10 (as most of my shoes from Steve Madden are). I haven’t made this a practice (of sizing down) because I have long toes. This having been said, with the shift forward of my foot, my toes started to do more than just ‘peek’ through the ‘peep-toe’.
Other Considerations: For my maiden voyage in these peep-toe pumps, I wore them shopping. Not a big mistake, but I didn’t realize that there wasn’t a textured outsole, so I had to walk with an abundance of caution while on the tiled floors of the mall.
In Summary: Although I really loved the shoes, they are not as ‘amazing’ as they looked, or as I had imagined they were going to be; so while they are high on style (I give them a 5 out of 5 for the rich fabric upper, the deep color, the cut outs, the structured heel and platform), I have to down-rate them for comfort (I give them a 2 out of 5 due to the following: non-textured outsole, the ‘slippery’ insole and the pinching because my feet did not remain stationary in the shoe) = 7 out of a possible 10! " Ciao a tutti!
I thought I had hit the jackpot last year with my MIA Pampa wedge booties. Unmatched comfort and style, I bought all three colors and was in heaven…that is until, I found these MIA Brisk booties! The rich Olive green color and the faux laced-up vamp enticed me, but it was the convenient ankle zip that had me sold.
The 3-inch wedge with the lug sole is the perfect height and ultimate in stability; I strolled a few miles over a few hours in these booties: through the streets (both paved and unpaved) of a festival, over cobblestone paths and even across dampened grass to get to a boat landing, and I have no complaints!
They fit true to size (every pair of MIA shoes I have bought are the same size in both length and width, and I never need to size up for MIA boots) and are extremely comfortable. These are definitely my new favorite pair of booties, and I highly recommend them!
Baci!

" I'm a 'Maddenista' from way back, so when I saw these beauties on sale (both the cognac and beige) I had to get them. The 2" platform offsets the 5 inch heel which makes this sandal fairly easy to walk in. The soft leather upper was quite flexible, while the color on the fabric mid-sole is very vibrant. The only 'problem' (if you could call it that) I encountered was that the heel strap (it was more pronounced on the left shoe) felt a little loose. Other than that, beautiful shoe! "

" If you have been looking for an "it" shoe with comfort without sacrificing style, the Lenor by Steve Madden is "it"! If you have been holding out on a new pair of shoes or have yet to take the plunge into the Marvelous Mondo of Madden, this is the shoe for you! A leather shoe which is high on style and needs no breaking-in time could only be perfected by Steve Madden; the sturdy height of a stacked wedge in combination with a lug sole for traction is a no slip solution in wet weather (rainy or dockside!). And the three colors in which it comes, you can always find something with which to pair it. I personally have (and only will) pair it with a skirt or dress. Why? The stitch detail around the edge of the shoe and the bow tie on the vamp, turns this boat shoe beauty into a smooth sailing land (and sea) worthy vessel to be admired (and envied)! I highly recommend this shoe! You did it again, Steve! "
