" I saw these in-store and liked them, butt hey didn't have a size 13 at the time. I had a little mix-up where I bought them online while my wife found my size in-store as a birthday present.
In the end, though, I'm glad I took the gamble. I'm always weary of buying "store brand" when it comes to higher ticket things like this. In this case, the shoe has solid construction, great fit, and it's a great value for the money. Yes, at first, they take a while to break in, and there isn't much padding in them. Most good shoes will require some break-in and the lack of padding is fine since there is some vertical room. It means you can choose to add your own supports or padding where you want it. Give these a shot, wear them for an hour or so, and then make the judgement where to add support to make it fit your foot perfectly. "

Runs a little too narrow for me
" Seems well built, fairly comfortable though not much padding. I had to exchange mine because it seems Cole Haan's "Medium Width" is a little more narrow than most other brands. "
