Nice boots but returned them

" I liked these boots; the style was very simple and classic, the workmanship and material good, but they just didn't fit my skinny 12 1/2 " calves. There was a lot of 'slop' between my calf and the boot top and the whole boot sagged badly around my ankle. I think, however, that for someone with average size legs they would be just fine. "

Wish they were right

" These are beautiful boots! They were a great, comfortable fit right out of the box even for my short slightly wide toes. I have skinny ,12 1/2 inch calves, but these boots fit nicely over my tucked in jeans without being sloshy like most. The leather is buttery smooth and well crafted and the inside of the boot is lined with a thin, soft leather. It was with deep regret that I had to return them because the pointy toe was a bit too Western to suit my wardrobe. If the toe had been round I would LOVE to have kept them. "
