Pretty but...
" The heel is a bit high. For me. It's a nice pair of heels, nothing really special about them but if you were looking for a pair of plain pumps in a particular color then these should be right up your alley. Comfort is about what's to be expected from a heel of this height. No extra cushioning in the insole so you might want to get some gel inserts. As for me I'm probably returning these, they really are too high for me.

" These are going back. This is the last steve madden product I'm buying. His shoes tend to look very nice. Stylish. But he has some the most poorly constructed and cheaply made shoes I have ever encountered. Especially for his price bracket. As soon as I put this boot on my foot I could tell that after a couple months of wear, they would fall apart (like most of his shoes). I have never before encountered such flimsy leather... except on another steve madden boot. So goodbye steve madden. I won't be back.

irregular choice wins again!
" Honestly I love this brands shoes. I've never had an issue with any irregular choice shoes before and don't see any issues with the comfort, look or feel of these. They are absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately DSW didn't have these in a size 9 so I had to get a 9.5. So I may be returning these if I decide I don't want to continously wear these with socks. BUT I'll say this one more time. They are BEAUTIFUL!

size 9 fits just fine
" Would have preferred it with a zipper (as pull on boots can be annoying) but these aren't difficult to put on (or painful). The color is true to the picture and just as cute.

a little disappointed...
" I got these in these in blue. Beautiful color but a poorly executed boot. The leather has areas that look scuffed and damaged not "brushed" as they say in the description. The zipper is stiff and gets stuck very easily and I can tell by the amount of force I need to use to get it going that one day its going to break. The toe kind of pinches as well but that might just be me. So... yeah. I'm gonna return them.

Even nicer in person
" I've never really been a rain boot person so when these were delivered to my door I was shocked at how much I liked them. They are very cute and the only issue I have with them is wanting to wear them when its not raining! Despite what some of the other reviews have said I found that these boots are true to size and if I had sized down as some suggested they would have been too small.

perfect casual ankle boot
" I can already tell these are going to be one of my "go to" pairs of boots. I actually walked into DSW with a completely different pair of taupe shoes in mind but as soon as I saw these boots I knew the search was over. They're extremely comfortable, true to size and cute! I really love pairing them with off white skinny jeans and thick lightly neutral leg warmers. I really didn't notice any of the jingling some of the other reviewers mentioned so I can't comment on that.
The only complaint I have is that I wish that the olive boots had been available instore, though if I'm to be completely honest with myself I probably still would have bought them in taupe, haha.

" After you get a certain amount of shoes you kind of want any new additions to stand out from the rest and these do! Wild & zany enough to be headturners while the color combination tames them enough to worn frequently. They're true to size and not uncomfortable. So if you're on the fence about these, jump off and prepare to strut!
