Who puts slippery felt on the bottom of shoes??

" I ordered these shoes because they looked like an awesome black shoe for summer with the open toe and breathable fabric. However, the square toe looks a little frumpy, even though it's not a low-heel, and the shoes are so slippery! The bottom is coated in felt, which may provide more traction on carpet than the smooth plastic some shoes use (I hate that too), but it's super slippery on hard-surface flooring. I don't understand why manufacturers leave the bottoms of women's shoes slick and seemingly unfinished. It's an easy fix at the cobbler, but why not include it in the first place? "

Basic black pump with some great details

" I ordered these in black to replace the worn out basic black peep-toes I've been wearing (and re-heeling) for years. I love the combination of the "snakeskin" with the patent band. It's a great detail. I have a pair Kelly and Katie pumps from two years ago and ordered the same size, but I ended up exchanging them for the next half-size up. They run small! The bottom of the shoe has textured rubber that keeps it from being slippery and looks like it will hold up well. In the picture the black color seems to have a blue-ish tint, but that's not the case in person. They were a bit squeaky (?) and had started to rub uncomfortably by the end of the first day, but maybe they're broken in now. I think they will work fine. I wish the heel was a tad wider because the stiletto heel is a little intense and may need to be replaced more frequently. "

Feminine and Professional

" I tend to buy neutral colored shoes (black, brown, grey, beige) because they go with everything, but I was excited to change it up and get a burgundy pump. It's a beautiful color (I plan to wear it with navy and grey in the fall) and the fit is perfect. I haven't worn them a full day yet, but they seem extremely comfortable. The bow on top is actually more of a knot, with the loose end extending only on the outer side of the foot. This makes it a little more interesting. It's a great feminine shoe I can wear with my professional wardrobe. "
