Cracklin' Toes-y
" My Marc by Marc Jacobs Crackled Bootie order is a keeper. The black bootie is a slip on, and the ankle section is wide enough to put your foot through. The rough black crackled leather is unusual, and almost appears a bit shimmery. The materials and craftsmanship are excellent. The boots are so versatile and can be worn with pants, jeans, or skirts. Love them!
The only drawback is the fit. I usually wear a size 9 boot, and these were almost tight enough through the toes to return (and I loved them!). It is as if there is a large hidden platform throughout that throws off the fit. The seam on my left foot leaves a mark too. I put puffy slipper socks (embarassing-they were a gift! :) on to stretch them a bit, and they are now fine. If they had them in gray, I would order a 9 1/2. The Marc by Marc Jacobs runs a bit small. I have four pairs of Marc Jacobs boots through DSW, and I am overall pleased. Happy shopping!

AAHHHH...Ma-ZING!
" OK. OK. I have been watching these fabulous boots since I saw and missed them for the sensational price of $99. I literally could have kicked myself. So, I waited and waited and stalked them and stalked them. Every day, morning, noon, and night I would check the DSW website. I would not give up! Finally, I had a snow delay (I teach) and there they were in my size. My heart started to race as I ordered them in the black leather and gray suede. Girls, they are everything I imagined! If you missed out I shed a tear for you.
The Marc by Marc Jacobs boots have an expensive quality that is difficult to explain-from the materials to the construction. The gray suede is soft and lush in a dusty dove gray color. The black leather is so fabulous, rich, and supple that I wish I had purchased two pairs! The silver hardware has that subtle "look at me" design. The heel is substantial and will wear well. The fit is true to the size dimensions given. And you can't have large calves to wear these boots.
The Marc Jacobs boots are so versatile that you could wear them with dresses, pencil skirts, jeans, jeggings, and leggings! I hope DSW continues to carry this brand.
Overall, this is one of my best DSW purchases on record for the designer, quality, and price. Now, if they would only get the rust in my size I could relax!!!

Keep on Walking
" These tall gladiators were much better in theory than in person. I returned them within a week after chuckling that I was fool enough to buy them. The lattice length was too short on the calf. The lattice stopped in the middle of the calf rather than under the knee like I wanted. The look was more cheap than edgy and the zipper stuck. My husband laughed out loud when he saw them and was in disbelief that I even considered them. Ladies, do yourself a favor: save your time and money and keep on walking!

A Little Piece of Heaven
" These shoes are a fabulous inexpensive essential to add to your shoe collection. The heel height is slightly high, but a true fashionista can still walk with ease. The ruffled ribbon t-strap detail is divine and makes the shoe complete! I purchased these in all four colors (black, gray, pink, and red) and would do so again. I plan to wear these beauties with a subtle outfit and let my feet do the talking!
