Basic shoe
" This running shoe is just basic. It has plenty of width which is nice. The shoe feels stable, but I don't use it for running. I use it for doing work outside or a quick walk. It's affordable enough that I don't mind getting it dirty, etc. If you are looking for a running shoe, I would suggest finding another shoe since this one doesn't have cushioning at the ball of the foot and it doesn't really hug the foot. For running, I like either the Asics Kayano or the GT-2000. In running shoes, I always have to order up a size. I wear an 8 in regular shoes, but I purchase a 9 in my running shoes.

Regarding width
" This shoe was comfortable on the first run. I wasn't sure if the width would work for me, but the shoe did stretch/give to accommodate my foot. I have had my feet measured, and although they always say that I don't have wide feet, the right one is borderline. Often I need to purchase wide in running shoes so that my feet don't feel trapped. Also, I typically wear size 8 in shoes, but I need to purchase a 9 when buying Asics. My previous running shoe was the Asics Kayano (size 9w), but I am happy with this style so far. I love the fun color, and the cushioning at the ball of the foot is really great.
