Great sandal

" Had been looking for a neutral heeled sandal for some time now. Saw these in the clearance section in stores with their extra % off stickers. I love that these have a chunky heel, and the nude/light brown works well with my wardrobe. The leather is soft so for those worrying about these being a bit tight, don't worry, these will definitely stretch out. I am a true 7.5 but sometimes an 8 in heels. I tried both sizes and honestly, they fit about the same, so I got the 8s. I wore them out a few weeks ago and they were pretty comfortable for the most part. The only problem I have is that the top of the shoe in the back digs into my Achilles tendon a bit so I'll have to wear these a few more times to soften them up (hence 4 stars instead of 5). Definitely a great find! "

" I got these in grey as an exchange from another pair of shoes I received in the mail. Much, much cheaper in store than online [which is a rarity might I add] - got them for a steal! In person the grey colour is a very pretty neutral shade [more like a taupe-grey] and flattering on my light olive skintone. I intend to wear these in a more professional setting, but they work for just about any occasion. I am a solid 7.5 and these fit TTS. Soft leather, thin footbed/sole - these are definitely not meant for walking more than a few hours. They are also a bit slippery, but walking on concrete or any other rougher surface will solve this problem. Overall, it's a beautiful, simple flat that is well made and a must have in every woman's closet! "

Cute sandals

" I had been eyeing these sandals since last summer to replace my pair of black sandals [also bought from DSW!] that somehow got lost in my parents' garage a few years ago. I was thrilled to see that these hit the DSW website a few weeks ago in all colors and for half the price! At first, I couldn't decide between the tan or black, but ultimately decided on black since it can function well in both fancy and casual settings [and I already own 2 pairs of brown sandals also from DSW]. The ivory color looks pretty, but I felt it would get dirty quickly. The heel is a nice touch to an otherwise flat ankle sandal. The leather is soft and supple and the woven part fits perfectly around my feet. I think if you have wider feet, you may have trouble fitting them through the woven front so you might have to stretch the leather to accomodate. The only problem I run into is the buckle area - I use the last hole and it's a little tricky to buckle the strap in since it is a bit wider than the actual buckle. And because the buckle is a single loop, not a double, there is a leather loop piece that holds the end of the strap in place. It's kind of awkward and I feel like it might wear down and break off. Maybe not, but if so, it's easily replaceable. Overall, it's a great sandal and I can't wait to pair them with my dresses and skirts this summer! I am a true 7.5 and this fits TTS. "

Great Ballet Flats

" I was searching high and low for the perfect black flat to replace my old ones I had for a couple years from another retailer - something timeless, classic, and also a little unique. These are it, if not very close! Although I prefer the daintier ankle strap flats, I was drawn to the square toe and the resemblance of actual ballerina dance slippers [as a previous commenter stated, these are very, very similar to the chloe pair I have lusted for months]. The suede footbed feels incredible and the criss-cross elastic straps prevent the shoes from slipping off your feet. I also love the fact these are real leather [my previous pair were not] and the construction is on par with many higher quality flats for a fraction of the price. However, if you are a lover of vegan shoes, you may look elsewhere. And they do have a bit of toe cleavage, but that doesn't really bother me. These will definitely get a lot of use. Overall I think these shoes are a great value for any lady searching for her perfect flat. For reference I am a true 7.5: I first purchased these in size 7.5 but felt were a bit short in the toebox [most likely from the square toe shape] - my big toes were protruding a little past the leather of the toebox. I exchanged them for an 8 and they are perfectly roomy for my toes! "

Fantastic Pair of Loafers

" I got these shoes for my birthday a couple of months ago so I know this review is a little late. I'd like to say, they are wonderful! I was afraid that everyday walking would wear them down fast [like other similar cheep-o flats and shoes have in the past] but they haven't! The soles are thicker and tougher, and the leather is soft and durable. They are definitely well-constructed, great quality shoes that will last for years. The bows are a great substitute to the penny-loafer fringe [which my boyfriend loathes (I don't know why)] and adds a touch of femininity . I got them in mint [it's more of a seafoam green], and they are beautiful. Surprisingly, for a non-neutral colour, they go with everything in my closet. I dream of having the cognac and black, but that's what Christmas is for =). I found these shoes TTS. I got my usual 7.5 and they fit perfectly. The only problem I had was the first couple of wears they pinched my heels a bit, but they have since been broken in. If you are in the market for a great loafer/flat, definitely consider these! They are worth the price and Seychelles never seems to disappoint. "

Ode to Vance

" These shoes arrived yesterday.
I was excited to open the box.
And when I did,

The heel was quite high but were comfy to wear.
A size 8 was just right for my feet.
