Not exactly what I had hoped for...
" I'm city girl and I don't have car. My feet are my primarily vehicle of choice, I use car sharing when I need it - which you'll walk a few blocks to and from to use - and I don't take cabs if I don't have to. Oddly enough, I usually find driving shoes to be some of my favorites to walk around town in. I've had my eye on these shoes for a LONG time. When they went on sale, I also happened to have a few rewards certificates and gift cards on hand. I was so excited to finally order the Marc Jacobs drivers I had been lusting over for a few months. Now that I've had a day to wear them, I'm a bit crushed. I had to take a cab home from work these shoes pinched my toes so much - I've never taken a cab home from work before, less than a mile. I even grabbed a pair of loafer socks from CVS but it was too late, the damage was done. I usually wear a 6 to 6.5, but even the 6.5 still chewed up my toes.
I'm still going to work on them, maybe some trouser socks will do the trick to help break them in. They are not a buttery leather by any means. They are stiff and not so cushy. I'm still hopeful they will mold a bit more to my feet and stretch out somewhat. Also, the tan color is not rich cognac color, they are more muted in person than on screen. I haven't given up hope on them, but the honeymoon ended much faster than I had wanted it to.

" great house slippers for the cold weather months - socks or bare feet, they wear well and keep the toes toasty. the bow does come untied fairly regularly, but the lace is long enough that you could get creative with how you style them with different knots, added beading, etc. they will stretch with wear. the heel is stiff at first, but loosens with wear and any discomfort doesn't last long. very cozy and great to wear around the house after you've been running around in less comfy shoes all day.

great riding boot for lean legs
" I'm fortunate to have lean legs and these boots have a great fit for my calves. Jeans, leggings, tights, dresses, skirts all look sharp paired with them. They do hit right at the knee but they don't rub the joint in a painful or annoying way when walking down the street, and as they break in and wear at the ankle they won't hit the knee as much. I'm looking forward to seeing how many years of wear I'll get out of them - I think they will go the distance.

these weren't made for walking
" I wear a size 6 & I find that any shoe with more than 3" of height has your foot in an almost vertical position that makes it nearly impossible to walk. With that said, these shoes are gorgeous.. I'm going to hang on to them for those nights when you can get away with kicking them off on the dance floor.

A great classic pump that goes with everything
" The heel isn't too big that it's uncomfortable to walk around in. The black pumps are a classic wardrobe addition that you'll get years out of. They do worlds of good for short women with small feet by elongating your frame and not making your feet look super tiny. The pointed toe starts just past the big toe so they don't crush feet when you're wearing the right size.

A little too big for small feet/frames
" I was so excited to receive these boots only to be crushed that they were too big to fit around my calves. The poor fit made them look cheap when I put them on, but if they fit you well I'm sure they'll look smashing and at a great price. I really wanted to wear them with bare legs, tights & leggings, and I just looked silly trying since they weren't tight fitting at the top of the boot.
