Way narrow for a Wide shoe...
" I'm typically a 7.5M or 7.0W because I have short but wide feet. I needed winter boots badly for an end of the year trip to somewhere really cold and my old pair of boots are pretty much worn out beyond repair at this point. After looking at a bunch of snow boots (that were all rather insanely ugly), I found the Totes Polly Snow Boots and yay, they look cute!
Just arrived and after putting it on, my first thoughts were "OMG THESE ARE SO NARROW." I ordered 7.0W and for wide shoes, after i put it on it looks narrower than all of my non-wide shoes. whyyyyyyyyyy??? The length is good, just the width is no where near the "wide" that I was expecting. I hate to see how narrow the non-wide pairs are.
Other than width, the boots are really cute and the inside is lined with furriness. I hope it won't shed too much though, i hate it when that happens with shoes. They are very light for winter boots which is always a good thing - only time and wearing it out can tell me if it really is water proof. I will most likely keep them since there aren't any cuter winter boots that I like, and fingers crossed it won't split from the bottom like how it happened to another reviewer, and hopefully with some wearing indoors to break it in, it'll stretch out a bit and be less narrow. They're really big in the shaft!!
" I bought these because they looked awesome online and they're wide calves. I measured my calves at the widest part and it's around 14.5" to 15" (at 15 it's a little loose but i figured that'd be more comfortable), so i figured these should be fine. I'm 5'5" so i'm not super short (not super tall either). Got these in the dark brown colorway in 7.5M(i'm a 7W or 7.5M, i have very short feet that fits 6.5 to 7 but it's kinda wide which is why i normally have to size up).
When it arrived and I put it on, I immediately knew there was gonna be a problem. 1) it's taller than I expected. While it didn't hit the crease of my knees, it was only an inch or so below it and thus still made bending my legs a little awkward. 2) they are REALLY WIDE. Apparently I over estimated how thick my legs are because these gape so much all around. Even in jeans that are wide pant leg (ie not skinny jeans), even with the extra fabric, there was still a gape at the top. For the height of the shaft, I think the makers forgot that most people's wides part of the leg is at the CALVES and it usually tapers a bit before the knees. 3) they look awfully like rain boots somehow. It might be also because of how large they are on me, but in the dark brown colorway with the shape of the shoe portion of it, and then with the gape at the top, I looked like I was wearing those knee high rain boots/mud boots for a day in the Florida marshes.
I REALLY really wanted to love these. The leather is quite soft but not so soft that i feel like I'm going to rip it. The dark brown is lovely rich chocolate. The foot is roomy and comfy (the 7.5M allowed me to wear medium thick socks easily). Sadly there are just too many cons to these that I can't justify keeping them at all.
That said, these are probably LOVELY on the really tall ladies! "

Awesome shoes, but a bit big on me!
" I have short feet that's rather wide. Normally I purchase my shoes in 7.5 but I noticed these came in Wide so I went with 7.5W. Huge mistake because it turned out that I normally wear 7.5 in order to deal with the width of my size 7 feet. Which I never realized before. When the 7.5W came, my feet slide in it instead. *sigh* I didn't return/exchange for the right size unfortunately but they are just THAT comfortable so I never want to let go of them. lol. I might have to stuff the toe or use an insole to make them smaller i think...
But goodness they ARE so comfortable!!! I just recommend to either size down when you go for a Wide option. "

I LOVE THESE
" I have wide feet, bought these at my usual size of 7.5 and they are so comfortable! The heel is just the right height so that it's not too flat nor too high. I have a standing cube at work and I stand 9 + hours on these without any issues. The suede is also soft and stretchy and molded to my wide feet with no issues. The bottom isn't super hard but not super cushy either. Now that i've stretched it out (i've been wearing them daily for months now) I can probably add insoles for additional cushiness without compromising on being squished. I got them in the taupe/gray color and they match just about everything. LOVE! Since they're suede it never looks like I've worn it too much and killed it. I don't look forward to the day I may have to retire these! "

Super cute, but not color accurate
" I bought these in beige but when they arrived, they turned out to be more grey instead. Still quite cute, but unfortunately not the color I wanted. :\ The bottom is pretty hard and reviews about the middle bow being a bit tight by the other reviewers are accurate. I bought it in half a size up (8 instead of 7.5) and i can still feel the middle bow. The material's a little cheap i think, but the overall design is super cute. I'm really tempted to buy this in black too, just due to the cuteness factor! "

if only i sized down!
" I normally wear a size 7.5 in shoes, but to be honest, my size is more like a size 7 in length, but 7.5W or even size 8 in width at the front. -_-;;; I was very excited to see that this came in W so i took a chance and ordered my normal size 7.5 but W...and it turned out to be too big. i can still wear it with the buckle at the tightest hole, but even then it's obvious i have a huge gap at my heel. if i wear socks (which looks ridiculous unless it's like knee high or overknee socks) with them, it fits better, but still a shade loose. I definitely should've sized down to a 7W instead! At least if i do go bare foot when i wear these, i'll be wearing long dress pants which should cover up how huge they are on me lol
but that aside, it is COMFY! they don't look amazingly cute by itself, but i suggest pairing it with some knee high or overknee socks and a short skirt or shorts, and they will look absolutely adorable. and most of all, have i mentioned how comfortable they are???? "

Not well made...
" I got my shoes and was incredibly excited to try them on...only to find there's a piece of nail still sticking out on the left edge of the left shoe on the INSIDE. I can't even put the left shoe on without poking a hole through the side of my feet. D: Needless to say, this is going back!
I got them in the Red shade, and in real life the red is a little less bright compared to stock photos. "

awesome knee high boots for girls with wide calves
" so i've been on the hunt for a pair of knee high boots that are flat (so i can actually walk) AND accomidate my big calves. after looking around for a while and going to a DSW to try things on, this turned out to be my favorite. it's really cute suede boots with buckle details and a very slight wedge so it's not completely flat. i like this actually, as i find completely flat boots to look strange. i'm 5'5" and these goes right up to below my knees, and only barely hampers me when i sit down. best of all, it accomidates my calves. Even with the extended calve part zipped up, the calves of these are pretty wide to allow for my thick legs. it's hard to say how wide that is, but if you KNOW you have wide legs, then you have a lot of choices with this since you can unzip the sides. if you KNOW you have thin or average calves though, avoid this because it's going to look huge on you.
