" My feet slipped in without issue, which is so rare for my wider, double-bunionectomies. The front-most strap is not adjustable, but the rest of them ARE! The zipper makes them easy to remove, which is great. The color is a perfect muted greyish green; I'm currently wearing with an all navy outfit and feel like it'll match most everything. It's not leather but Crown Vintage are generally well-made shoes that last a good long time. Super sassy!

dedication required to break these in
" This is one sassy bootie. I get compliments on it all the time, which I accept gratefully because it took SO MUCH WORK to break these in. I have a wider foot, but the inside of the shoe gave me the most awful blisters on my big toes. I leveraged my shoe stretcher overnight on these shoes multiple times AND had to Foot Petals to put at the very front to protect my toes. So far, so good. Excellent padding and easy to walk in once you correct the razor blade lining at the toe opening!
These shoes look great with skinny jeans, skirts and dresses. If you're willing to sort these out they're fab.

Order a full size up!
" Net: These shoes are a dream but you must order up one size!
I'm a size 8.5 and the size 9 is fine - for Texas, where we don't have to wear heavy socks. Right now, after using a shoe stretcher to gradually widen the boot, I am comfortably wearing them with only tights. I've also managed to wear them with a wool sock liner - and that's it. If you plan on wearing these in real winter where it's actually cold, and you don't have a narrow foot, order a FULL size up. Note: I've had bunionectomies on both feet and these shoes have excellent arch support, padding, and structure so my foot is not doing all the work. The chunk heel distributes my weight fabulously. It WILL take adjusting to the front-top of the boot, as it can rub on your leg a bit.
Also note: to wear with skinny jeans you will have to roll them up. The jeans will not fit IN the boot. The boots do look nice when worn with boot-cut jeans. Overall I don't regret this purchase!

extremely disappointing
" These sneakers broke within one wear, literally. The plastic on the bottom at the ball of the foot started flapping off the shoe within the first 5 burpees. I couldn't believe it. I wanted to try Ryka because it's a company for women, so why not? However, I returned them the next day and DSW kindly gave me $5 towards a new (Saucony) pair.

great sneaker
" This is a well-made sneaker that works perfectly for my wide feet. I have had bunionectomies on both big toes so while these sneakers are for kickboxing and MMA training, they offer excellent support while allowing flexibility to pivot on the ball of the foot. Saucony has been the best sneaker for this purpose. I'm currently using my old pair for trail running and they're fab. I'm usually an 8.5 but sized up to 9. It fits better larger with a more cushioned sock. Excellent value.
