Such high hopes....
" First of all, these boots are not wide calf. They're normal calf and super duper tiny thigh. In order to wear these, your thighs have to be skinnier than your calves. I could not pull these up over my knee because the "over-the-knee" part was too small. It made no sense. Secondly, I ordered the black, and they weren't black. They were a brownish/black color. i took these back to the closest DSW the next day.
