Simliar to Nike Eclipse NM, Slightly Roomier
" I was sad to learn that Nike discontinued the Nike Eclipse NM, which is my all-time favorite shoe. This shoe is the closest current model I've been able to find to it.
This shoe is an extremely lightweight sneaker that is, in my opinion, very cute. I find it exceptionally comfortable. There's no arch support, and only minimal cushioning. The sole has considerably less traction than most sneakers (it's more slippery than chucks, for reference) but I don't mind that. The sole is flexible. To me, it feels slightly harder than the Eclipse II but softer than the original Eclipse NM.
The sizing is out-of-whack on this model. I find Nike's sizing to be pretty consistent, but on this shoe, a women's 11 felt like an 11.5. It also feels a little wider. The Eclipse NM 11 is snug on my foot, requiring me to loosen the laces slightly, and this shoe felt almost loose and require me to lace it up tighter...I also had more toe room. I was still able to wear this shoe very comfortably though, but I recommend trying on a different size, perhaps a half size smaller.
A word of warning: the different stylings of the Nike Victoria NM have very different materials in the upperparts, and some are more rigid than others. Of all the colors I tried on, this one had the softest and most flexible upperparts. I liked this model best--which made me happy because it's the color / styling that I most prefer. The white/pink one was the most rigid and I would not recommend that shoe, but some people might prefer it if it fits their foot well. "

Oddly Rigid for This Model of Shoe
" I like the Nike Victoria NM, but this particular color / style of it, which I tried on in a store, seemed different from the others. The fabric or material on the upperparts was highly rigid and inflexible. I also tried on the gray shoe with the purple swoosh and that felt like a completely different shoe from this one--I loved that one, this one was really not pleasant to wear.
The rigidity of the upperparts on this shoe made the shoe feeling narrower, even though it did not look narrower.
Even if you know you like the Nike Victoria NM, I recommend trying on the different colors / stylings of them because they feel quite different. This was the firmest / least flexible of all the colors/styles I tried on, and, at least for my tastes, I found it very uncomfortable.
I love this particular model of shoe overall, I just don't like the way this particular one was so rigid. "

Great Shoe, I Slightly Prefer Original Eclipse NM
" I love both the original Nike Eclipse NM and the Eclipse II, but I prefer the NM somewhat. Visually they are very similar (I actually like the look of the bottom of the soles better on this model) and structurally they are similar but slightly distinct.
This model feels slightly more cushioned than the original Eclipse NM. I don't like that as much...it makes the shoes feel slightly less light on the feet.
Mind you, this is a very slight difference: both shoes are very lightweight and create natural biomechanics, a lot like the Nike free or other shoes meant to be more similar to walking or running barefoot. "

So comfy, so cute! I wish they made these for men!
" This is one of my favorite sneakers both in terms of structure and comfort, and in terms of look or style. It is so cute!
I'm a guy, and I wish Nike made something like this for men, but they don't make anything similar. Thankfully, I found I was able to wear sizes 11 or 11.5 women's (I'm usually size 9.5 men's). I think this shoe looks very cute on both men or women.
This shoe has a very minimal structure...the sole is thin and somewhat flexible. It's somewhat similar to the Nike free: I feel like walking with this shoe on creates more similar biomechanics to walking barefoot than most shoes do. It has some padding but not an excessive amount. There is zero arch support. There's a comfy amount of padding around the edge of the shoe, so it feels a bit cuddly on the feet, but not excessive cushioning, so it feels very light on the feet. And they're very lightweight too--which I really like.
I find these shoes very comfortable. I haven't had mine for a very long time, but several of my female friends own this same pair of shoe and say that it has held up for an exceptionally long amount of time, so I am hoping my pair will also prove to be as durable.
I was very sad to learn that Nike has discontinued this particular product. I have tried the Nike Eclipse II, and it is similar, but I slightly prefer this one, both in terms of how it looks and how it feels. "
