Wide calf, cheap looking leather
" I bought these boots in the brown and black colors online, and when I received them, I was extremely disappointed. The "leather" (it that's even what it is), looked very cheap and not real at all. I would swear that it is man-made. Aside from that, the calf is VERY wide. I have a very average size leg, and these were so wide in the calf area that it looked ridiculous. I was surprised that there were so many things about these boots that I didn't like. I have at least 4 other pairs of Clarks boots and shoes and they are all fantastic, which is why this is so surprising. I would NOT recommend these. "
