Narrow
" I ordered these in my usual size, 7.5 but they were so stiff and narrow that I could barely walk a few steps without pain. If they were real leather, I would have kept them but since they're synthetic, I just returned them. I haven't decided yet if I'll try again in an 8. The style was really cute but I just don't know if they're worth it.

Unexpected hit
" I bought these on a whim because I was looking for a comfortable ankle boot for work. My usual size is a 7.5 M but I typically order 8 in boots to accommodate socks. I ordered these in a 8 W because that's all that was available at the time. These are amazing. I have a slightly wide foot and the W fits perfect so I'm guessing the M would have been too narrow. They are comfortable and cute and I haven't stopped wearing them since I got them. For me, there has been zero break in time.

Too narrow
" Absolutely loved everything about these. Unfortunately, I ordered a 7.5 (my usual size) and they were way too narrow. Went to a store and tried on an 8...STILL too narrow. Such a shame. Otherwise, they were perfect.

Perfect boots
" These boots are perfection. They are insanely comfortable - I typically wear an 8 in boots to accommodate socks and that was perfect. They have a good width to them and the heel/platform combination makes them very comfortable even after long periods of walking or standing. They're very stable and I have been wearing them everywhere.

Love these boots
" Ok so the other reviews are right, these are a bit narrow. I usually wear an 8 in boots to accommodate socks - these were a smidge tight with socks. However, the suede is soft and has molded to my foot. The platform and heel is really stable and easy to walk in. I absolutely love these boots. The first day I wore them for 10 hours.

First pair of Birks!
" So this is my first pair of Birkenstocks and so far I am very pleased. Flat sandals or shoes cause my arch and heel to ache terribly so I bought these to give my feet a break. They arrived at work and right after my workout, I put them on. So comfy! They do run long and wide as I'm usually a 7.5 and the 7 is perfect. I also really like how this style is more feminine and dainty than the traditional Birks. I really feel like these are investment shoes and I'm very happy with them.

Summer booties
" As much as I love boots I wasn't sure how I felt about the whole summer boot trend, only because I live in a swelter. These are a great transitional piece. The leather is soft and very comfortable and the boots fit true to size. I have worn them to work for 8+ hours with no complaints and overall, I am really pleased with this purchase.

Perfect summer flat
" These loafers are great for summertime as they perforated suede is very breathable. They did chafe my heels and cause a few blisters but it wasn't anything a few band-aids and some breaking in won't fix. They're definitely worth it. Really happy with this purchase. I normally wear 7.5 and went with an 8.

Retro style
" Love these very pin-up-esque slingback wedges. I normally can't wear slingbacks as they slip off my heel but these are perfect. Plus they're very comfortable and stable. They fit true to size. I highly recommend these for summer. :)

THEY ARE REAL LEATHER :)
" Ok please ignore the description of these shoes on DSW's site. I hemmed and hawed whether to get these for days because I thought they were synthetic. A bit of Google searching later and I found that they are real leather! So of course I snatched them up. I ordered them in my usual size, 7.5 and I feel they are a bit tight both width and lengthwise. However, as they are leather, I expect them to stretch a bit and mold to my feet so I'm not worried and do not think a size 8 would have been better. I love the snakeskin cap toe and the tiny buckle. They elevate the simple ballet flat to something I can wear both casually and professionally. Plus the cushioning on these are insanely comfortable so you could feel good about giving your heels a rest and wearing these instead.

Love Aldo shoes
" I'm a recent convert to Aldo shoes but let me say, I'm incredibly pleased again with the quality of this shoe. My only complaint is that these run short and slightly narrow. I'm almost always a 7.5, only sizing up to 8 for width reasons (and then needing a heel grip to compensate for the longer length). I ordered these in an 8 as per the recommendation of other reviewers and they fit perfectly lengthwise. Width wise, they were a bit snug at first, pinching my right baby toe. But, and this is why I love genuine leather, within an hour of wearing them I can feel them softening up and conforming to my feet. Plus the foot bed is nicely padded, so much so that they have molded to my toes. These are as comfortable as flats with just enough height to lengthen your legs. I also like the mixed materials as it adds interest without being too flashy. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.
