Oddly, it works...
" This shoe surprised me. I ordered the black wool figuring it'd be perfect for winter and black tights. I didn't realize the strap and platform were the glittery black. I didn't think I'd like it, but I tried it on with tights and a short black skirt and... not bad at all!! I don't recall if the description said "glitter" or "sparkly". I'm not sure it did, which might have been nice to know... As for comfort: they're super high (heel & platform). They're comfortable, but I will need to add inserts so my feet don't slide down too much. Winter is going to be fun!!!

Perfect for travel!!
" This is perfect for traveling!! Big enough to carry a small purse plus other items for a plane ride or a road trip. Looks good and still useful. NICE!! The only thing that isn't perfect are the straps. The links hurt the shoulder after a while...

Grape of Not to Grape...
" I ordered these shoes and was a little worried what the actual color might be when received. Turns out that they're exactly the purple (grape) I needed. Yay! Tried them on and they're a very high heel, but I can still walk in them comfortably. I haven't worn them all day yet, but have worn them 1/2 a day and things went well. I'm a 9.5 and ordered the 10, which is good since they run a little short. DSW: still winning!

Nostalgic!
" Love these shoes!! They're comfortable and make me feel tall! They also make me feel a little nostalgic for the 70's rock styles. I wear them all day long and my feet don't hurt, the straps don't cut into my skin, and people compliment me. This is a WIN!!

Unique shoes!
" I bought these online and was pleased when I received them. Wore them to work and the ladies in the elevator commented at how unique they were. Apparently, I've become the shoe talk of the office building. These are great and comfortable, but I needed to add a shoe insert so my feet would slip and slide around the shoes.

LOVE them!!
" These shoes are surprisingly comfortable. I was afraid the straps would hurt after a while, but they actually helped in securing my feet. No slipping or sliding in the shoes. Wore them with a maxi dress and got compliments all day. This was a plus!

Sassy!
" I love wearing these shoes with an all black outfit: pencil skirt, turtleneck, and these shoes... Perfect. They run a little narrow which makes the seam hurt the big toe a little, but I simply placed a little moleskin on there and problem was solved. Definitely 8 - 10 hr shoes...

Post apocalyptic and more...
" I initially purchased these to go with a post-apocalyptic themed fundraiser. They were perfect!! Today, I'm wearing them with a flowered sundress and they are still perfect. They definitely cover a multitude of styles. These shoes run a little narrow, but not enough to be painful. Comfortable enough to wear all day... particularly busy days when you're on your feet a lot.

" I'd never owned a pair of gray shoes, but saw the thumbnail and thought I'd try them... Totally a WIN! Definitely more comfortable than I thought they would be and I haven't even finished breaking them in... I'm impressed. The ruffle is definitely different and original and I love it!

Love these!
" I wanted a wedge boot. I found this wedge bootie. I wasn't sure I'd like it because it's hard to tell detail on a black shoe. I ordered anyway. Love them! Perfect with tights and a short skirt! They only needed an insole because not very cushy, but $1.99 (insole cost) later, perfect!

Great for Chicago!
" Bought these shoes for winter Chicago trip. Needed something comfy, warm, and something I wouldn't slip in (ice/snow). It took a little bit to break them in, but now they're comfortable. Nice to wear with tights and knee socks and easy enough to wear in NM too! Many compliments received, so thank you, DSW!
