It is not patent leather
" The shoes are very nice, however, the claim on the description that it is patent leather is fallacious and deceiving; the shoe itself specifies all man made materials. I just received them and they look quite nice. Unfortunately they will not stay nice for long and will cause me discomfort because they are not leather - which is what I thought I was buying. The price is also high for a completely synthetic shoe. "
