Works well for casual or dressier occasions

" I bought these to replace a worn pair of combat boots that were my travel go-tos. I try to minimize the footwear I bring on trips because I prefer to travel as light as possible. Although they were on the more stylish side, on occasion, the combat boots were too casual to be versatile enough for my trips. I bought these to replace them and am thrilled. These boots have a flat heel so I can easily navigate airport connections or city streets without fear of turning my ankle. They are comfortable so I feel I can walk all day in them, but they are feminine not boxy looking. They look equally nice with jeans, slacks, or a skirt. I didn't deduct stars because this is a personal preference, but they would have been even more perfect if they had been all leather instead of a combination of leather and suede. To make them more weather proof, I treated them with leather/suede waterproofing. "
