Really nice, runs long though

" I fell in love with these the minute I saw them. They are unique, gladiators but with a modern, almost industrial-style (if this makes sense) twist. Love the details such as the studs, raw style edges, buckles. The color is gorgeous. My only complaint is that they run a little large. I am a true size 5.5 in sandals. When I first put them on I was devastated because they looked an entire one full size too big on me. Keep in mind that gladiators tend to make your foot look larger than it is already (at least that's my impression) so on top of that I had half an inch of extra space in the front. I debated for almost a week and was almost certain I was going to send them back. I searched online for smaller sizes, then decided I was returning them altogether and needed to find a different brand/style instead. It was really annoying. But then I decided to wear them out, and really test them out. Well I am so glad I did, because for some reason, when I walk, my foot slides forward and they end up looking ok. I still prefer they were designed shorter but at least it's not at the point where I can't stand looking at my feet in them. Not sure if you can see it in the pictures, but photo with no nail polish is when I first tried them on right out of the box and you can see all the extra space in the front. The photo with polish on is after I had walked in them for a little while. It may not seem significant to some but it really irritated me, hence one star off. "
