LOVE these boots!
" I absolutely LOVE these boots. I would agree with other reviewers that they run a 1/2 size big. I'm typically a 9.5 and got these in a 9. I have received so many compliments on them. The leather is a rich, brown leather and will only get better as I wear them. The buckle details also make this boot unique and different from others I have. "

Very narrow calf
" I could not get the boots to get past my calves! This boot is made for tall women with no calves. Also the boos look better in the picture. "

Nice Boot!
" I love the style of this boot! I ordered in black in a 9.5 because all the reviews say it's too big. I'm usually a size 10 and I'm 5'9" in height. I'm 142 lbs, but have chicken legs. I was worried it would be too much room around the calves, but it isn't. It's still a tiny bit loose, but it doesn't slouch so it's manageable and as good as it gets for my legs. Others say the leather is too hard, but I didn't experience that problem at all. It's very smooth and soft, and I'm actually worried about how easily it gets scratched! One thing I don't really like is how it looks a bit big around the ankles and top part of the foot, so for that reason I had considered returning them for the size 9 , but I decided not to because I won't be able to wear thick winter socks like I want , and will only be able to wear thin trouser socks or stockings with them. A whole size down is too perfect of a fit that it won't leave room for thick winter socks which you will need once the weather gets colder, and for this kind of money on this boot, you want to be able to get use out of them in any type of weather and to be comfortable at the same time. If you don't mind a snug fit, and only thin stockings to wear in them just so you won't have the extra baggage around the ankles and top of the foot then go for it. Otherwise, I only recommend a half size down. I love the detailing of the buckles which give this boot great style. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and will be wearing these with skinny jeans today! "
