balances tough/girly, casual/dressy, SOO versatile
" I normally do not rate shoes so highly. I am a pretty harsh critic and very picky. You can look at my other reviews to see. The reason I'm telling you this is so you know this is a very AUTHENTIC 5 stars that I am giving these boots. They are very high quality and extremely versatile. These are the rare pair of boots that I could EASILY see myself still getting use out of 5 or even 10 years from now (if I don't destroy them by then from constant wear). I think the name of these (total) is perfect because these really go with everything. The styling is classic so that it won't go out of style, but yet it still has unusual details and flair. These are perfect with tights and a dress or skirt or with any type of skinny or slim cut pants or jeans. The front of the boot comes up just under my knee. (I am 5'10".) The back has this great lower cut detail. The silver buckles perfectly balance tough and dressy. I honestly just can't get over how amazing these are. I got them in black, btw... they are a high quality leather that will last forever as a versatile, classic, and unique boot that goes with practically everything. YOU DO NEED TO ORDER A HALF SIZE DOWN. I normally wear a 10 and the 10 felt like "man boots" on me. My local DSW stores finally got these shoes in so I could go in-store to try on and exchange. I could wear the 9 without rubbing or anything, but it didn't leave room for thick socks or any "wiggle room." The 9.5 is PERFECTION. It's amazing what a huge difference a half size makes in how this shoe looks and feels. I'm just so happy with them... I don't think you will be disappointed in these if you get them, as long as you remember to order a half size down. Personally I recommend the black because they are as versatile as the day is long. Incredible. The brown is nice too though. I know this is a long review but seriously... these are great. =) "

" I loved the boot. You can defiantly tell that this is a well made shoe. It runs big in size, I'm usually a 9 today I exchanged the shoe at the store to a 8.5. Another slight minus is that it is slightly tight along the calf. "

My new "Love"
" These boots have everything I have been looking for. They are stylish, with a little edge and the leather is such a beautiful color of rich brown. The first day I wore them - they were comfy as could be and I got loads of complements. I am so so happy with my decision. I am thinking about buying them in black too. They are my new love. "

Gorgeous But Huge!
" Beautiful multitonal brown leather, but not as soft as you'd think for the price. Runs tremendously long. Ordered a 7.5 and it's over an inch too long. "
